Puppy City

I purchased a Maltese puppy in December 2012 and 2 weeks later the puppy had a seizure I called puppy city and they said it just might be a cold so I went there to get antibiotics and he was still sick so I took him to a vet and the vet announced he had parvo a very DEADLY disease to animals the vet bill was $2,000 and puppy city refused to cover the bill or offer reimbursement so I took them to court and now they are still giving me a hard time with the money I lost the puppy because I couldn't pay the money and still no one has taken FULL responsibility . more

We purchased an English bulldog exactly one week and 4 days ago. My puppy was perfect she was great and we all fell in love with her not until she started acting sick yellow stuff coming out her nose and a really ugly sound cough I took her Monday to my own vet he said she had a really bad cold so he gave me some food for her to eat because she wasn't eating and some antibiotics. I went home did exactly what my vet said to do the next day she really didn't want to eat and she look worst I took her back to my vet they did a chest X-ray and the puppy had sever hypo plastic trachea and a sever pneumonia. At this point my husband I are devastated because we really love her so we take to the emergency for them to tell us the same this and if we proceeded on leaving her there it will cost us 3000 to 4000. Not giving us a positive attitude that she will be ok so he says I will give u a letter stating that the puppy was "unfit to sale" I called puppy city to see what they would say to me so I spoke to Oscar and he said that the vets like to exaggerate to bring the puppy to him the next day. I brought him that same night to him and supposedly they would give her at biopics and the proper car for her breathing. I called to find out how she was and my first phone call was " oh she is doing great" my second call I get " oh she is running around and eating great" I taught it was to good to be true so I told my husband to call he speaks to the owner and he tells him that she is doing a LITTLE better that she only ate a little but she is getting better. So I sit her and start doing my research and I see alllll these negative reviews and they are all the same thing, WHAT DO I DO? By the way do to all this mess I have a 13teen year old boxer and now she is also sick we can lose her do to this mess! I am going to see her tomorrow and I don't even know what to do we love dearly and don't want to lose her but all I see is $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ for ever what a nightmare please help give me some advise. more

I bought bought a beautiful "toy" yorkie there in Match 2011. Our toy yorkiee is twelve pounds with a collapsed trachea, kennel cough,parasites,fever. Manny and Oscar are used car salesman who practice veterinary medicine and hold themselves out as vets prescribing antibiotics. They recommended a heavy handed leg breaker vet named Bregman who is rude and unprofessional. A ladu who could'nt pay his vet bill had her dog euthanized.I am asking the Brooklyn DA to prosecute these barbarians. I have spent 10K in an effort to have a healthy dog. more

I drove all the way from New Jersey to New York and it took me 3 hours to get there! i get there all the kitties and puppies are so adorable, so i bought a tcup yorkie. One of the ladies that work there was like "oh here's so CLAVAMOX, puppies now a days tend to get sick so i give you it for free". i thought that was very nice of her so i said thank you and bought the dog and went home. I took the yorkie to my vet in NJ and doc told me the dog has Broncitues and both of his legs has loose knee caps!!! Now i was really upset that the staff lied to me about the dog and that it was healthy!!. I called them up and told them you sold me a sick dog and now you have to pay for the medical bill. I bought the dog February or 2007 and it is now MAy of 2007 and I still have not recieved anything from them. I keep calling and they said "oh i sent it, i dont know why you didn't recieve it"!!!! PLAESE DO NOT BUY ANY ANIMAL FROM PUPPY CITY!!!! more

pet stores are awful. i work in an animal hospital and we get sick puppies from there all the time, most of which we end up putting down. do NOT buy your pets from pet stores, ADOPT them, or get them from breeders who actually know what they are doing. when one puppy in puppy city gets sick, they ALL do, because they are all kept so close together. more

This place has the cutest most adorable puppies and kittens that one has ever seen. Sometimes I walk into the store just because I cannot walk by without touching a furry ball of cotton. I purchased my puppy there over 4 years ago and it was a great descision that I have made to make him part of my life. more

I purchased my dog here about two years ago which is a fine Chihuahua. This store has a wide selection of dogs. If you come here looking for a certain dog, chances are that they have it. The prices are average I guess. My Chihuahua was about seven hundred dollars. I was also able to buy a bowl and a carrying pouch for it there. Nice place. more
