Providence Children's Museum 10/11/2005

A great learning place for little ones. I think this place is a great place for kids up to about 10. It is not only fun but educational. I find this is a great rainy day activity. However once you go, it gets old because the activities don't change often. Over school vacations, the children's museum offers many different special activites for the kids. The price is very reasonable and many times the local library has free or low cost passes. more

small, but fun 8/12/2005

Definitely a fun place for the kids, especially if they like animals. When I took my little brother, he enjoyed the animal shelter section the most. There is a lot for them to learn about animals. There is not a ton to do, but there are a few other interesting exhibits that most kids will enjoy. more

Fun for the kids 8/3/2005

This is a small museum, but there are a few things that really interest kids. They have a HUGE water table area, that's filled with pools and pipes and things you can float around in the water. There's also an area dedicated to the Animal Shelter, and they have all kinds of information about animals, and an area the kids can play vet in. They often have story tellers in too. There is a gift shop with trinkets in it on site. more
