Eww, I live directly across the street from Red Apple on jackson and I still don't shop there unless I have to, and for non-perishable food. Where do I start. Okay one day I was in there and the store was really slow, I went to the only open register with my items and the cashier was talking to her friend. She motioned for me to come forward and I went to put my food down on the revolving whatever-their-called where you put your groceries while waiting in line. I noticed a dirty bowl and spoon that appeared to have had cereal in it previously, it was someones home dishes in the spot where I put my food! I asked her what it was, she said, ""Oh, hahaha thats hers"" and pointed to her friend. I said, ""How can I put my groceries down if you have dirty dishes there? Isnt that pretty gross and unprofessional not to mention a health violation"" Her friend chimed in, ""Its no big deal"" I said, ""Actually it is, its sick!"" and as I walked off. The cashier called me a b!tch. I called and left the manager a message about this appalling situation and never got a call back. Even if her friend was eating in the store, there had to be a hidden place or ANY other place to put those dishes that clearly didnt belong there, isnt that crazy?!
