Don't go! 11/20/2008

I would not recommend going to Kuhio Pharmacy at all.. especially to pick up a prescription. The one pharmacist they have is hardly ever there- and when she's on her hour lunch break, good luck getting a prescription! They repeatedly told me I did not have insurance, when I knew I did... so I took a bus to Long's drug store in ala moana (worth the $2 bus ride) only to find out that the pharmacist realized i did have insurance and submitted it through my insurance.. But no one at Kuhio bothered to call me and tell me!! Long's drugs couldn't even contact the pharmacist bc once again she was on her lunch break... It is extremely overpriced with rude staff.... GO TO LONGS AT ALA MOANA! more

Pharmacy ok, steer clear of photo shop 4/28/2008

The photo shop has the worst "exchange" policy. First of all, they don't have a return policy...no returns whatsoever. Their exchanges can only be done M-F during business hours even though they are located in the heart of tourist Waikiki. Most tourist area shops adhere to a lenient exchange/return policy simply because it is a tourist town and most tourists don't have a m-f 9-4 schedule. Their customer service is non-existent, and they are not helpful. I regret buying from this place. Now I'm stuck with a worthless camera.\r Stay far away from their cheap products and shop elsewhere. more

Good for last minute items 8/25/2005

Kuhio Pharmacy is convenient if you are in need of last minute items. A lot of their items are overpriced, and you are better off getting them at WalMart. The pharmacy hours are horrible, they arent even open on weekends. The photo service is their best asset, and has a 4 hour photo that is very reasonably priced. PROS: photo developing CONS: overpriced, pharmacy hours more
