Years of Thank yous! 1/27/2012

How can I put in words how grateful we are for all each of you has done for our two children. Each of you have played a part in molding our children into who they are today. For almost three years you have provided them with a place we can feel safe and confident that they will receive the best care possible-that in itself as a parent is priceless. You have given them, and provided them, a base of knowledge from which they can build upon for the rest of their lives. You show every child how unique and special they are in this world. There are so many memories that we as a family will cherish forever more

Mediocre at best 1/17/2012

I had my daughter here and was NOT impressed by the staff or the facility. While prefer not reveal my identity, I highly suggest visiting other daycares and comparing to Primrose are Park Crossing. There are plenty of daycares in the same vicinity offering much better programs and amenities. Seems that all of the previous reviews are ""1"" time posters and they have a seemingly high amount of reviews. Very questionable! more

Amazing Child Care Decision 10/8/2011

Three years ago I enrolled my son in child care. I was nervous about the decision and I toured many child care locations. I choose Primrose School at Park Crossing because of their educational curriculum, friendly owner and caring staff. I started him at 3 days a week and increased to full time since he was doing so well. He has made many friends and has blossomed at Primrose. He has learned sign language, Spanish, alphabet and counting. I look back on my decision with great joy since I made the best decision for my son. Our six week old daughter will be starting soon and we are sure she will blossom as our son did. more

A childcare from Heaven above. 7/29/2011

I have 2 children enrolled at Primrose School at Park Crossing. My children have learened so much at Primrose! When we drive down the road; my 2 year old points out every sign and tells me what shape and color it is! The Primrose administration and staff are all very kind to each child. If I ever have a question the owner or director always gives me an educated and kind response. I don't know who Chris Scott is, but I am astonished at their review. Primrose is the exact opposite of what they described in their review. I feel that Primrose is truely our extended family. They provide a safe, loving, and educational enviornment. more

Being Part of the Family 7/6/2011

The first time I walked into the school it was filled with a sense of warmth, from the Director to the staff and the decor. The educational program is a plus, as well as the extra programs and the special events at the school. The Park Crossing school really goes the extra mile for the parents. It is definitely a feeling of being part of the family. more

A Parent's Thank You! 6/29/2011

I just want to take this time to write a letter of thanks to my Primrose family. I have been a part of Primrose for 6 years now and feel very blessed to say so. Both of my children began attending Primrose at the age of 3 months. My oldest daughter, who is now 6 years old, has been through the school's entire curriculum, and now attends the after-school program. She is a confident, happy, intelligent and well adjusted child. I believe this has a great deal to do with the efforts of the Primrose staff and the team attitude that they foster. I feel like the teachers, administration, my child, and myself are part of a unique team, working towards a common goal. Anytime I have had a concern about my children, I have always been able to speak to the teachers and director to collaborate and offer healthy solutions for my children?s growth. Primrose at Park Crossing is committed to their students, families, and educational program and has proven so for many years. They maintain a high standard of excellence from everyone which enhances their program and creates a true sense of family. This is a much cherished, rare quality. Primrose at Park Crossing is our choice because of their excellence! I love and appreciate the entire staff of Primrose at Park Crossing. Thank you and keep up the great work! more

5 star price, 1 star service 6/4/2011

I would stay away from this place. While some of the teachers are great, the management staff is horrible! My kids were constantly sick while enrolled here, and my wife asked the owner about implementing a hand washing policy, and the owner's response was that it was too hard to enforce. Every time I addressed the owner with a concern, she came up with an excuse for why it was not possible. There is something not right that my kids missed the equivalent to one to two days a week from being sick, they would always get better over the weekend, but would get sick again come Monday. While the school advertises they are 5 star day care, I have experienced many things that lead me to believe they should not be, from teacher ratios to cleanliness. One thing that is also odd, the owner's daughter was consistently in and out of all of the kids rooms playing and doing tasks, which just does not seem appropriate, being that she is not an adult There are many reasons I DO NOT recommend this day care which I have witnessed one time. This location is also closed when many days other day cares are not, so be prepared to take a sick/vacation day.. If you are looking for a great day care facility, check out Cranfield Acadamy! more

Thank you Primrose!!!!! 4/12/2011

When we moved to Charlotte from New York almost two and a half years ago, we were excited to start a new life for our family in much warmer climate! My husband's job as an engineer brought us here and I decided to take some time off and enjoy being a stay-at-home mom. When our daughter was 1 1/2 years and not walking, I realized that it was time for me to be around adults again and return to my career in marketing and my daughter needed to be around a warm, loving environment that would foster physical, emotional and mental growth. Primrose was the first school we looked at when it was time to enroll our child in a preschool. After visiting, watching the smiling faces of all the children at the school and learning about the structured curriculum, we didn't need to look any further and our daughter has been with the school ever since. more

Unprofessional. Giving them a 2 wk notice means they change your passcode & kick your kid out... 1/29/2007

My friend just had a bad experience with this one. Due to lack of availabity at the child care center of her choice, she began to use this center. After her child being bitten multiple times a month for 6 months straight without explainations of policies, steps they take to try to minimize, or even any notice that an event of any kind had occured some times, she located a different center she was more comfortable with, and gave her required 2 week notice. Upon coming in the next day, she discovered they had changed her passcode so she couldn't get in, and when she went to the office to discuss it with them, and explained that the new center wouldn't take her for another two weeks, they simply replied, I'm sure they could fit you in, with no offer of letting her use the last two weeks at the center. She finally convinced them to let her use it for just that day so she could get to work & locate another option for the next few weeks. Doesn't sound like a place I'd be comfortable caring for my child. Pros: No waiting list, able to take us right away. Cons: Unprofessional, lack of concern for issues encountered. more
