Color - I am a redhead, and red hair color is not an easy color to get right - it can be too pink, too orange, too brown for my very fair complexion you get the picture. Any experienced colorist knows this! Long story short, I wanted to cry today after I was told by the owner Reno ""everyone is talking about you..."" Basically how complicated I am that I'm never satisfied. I""ll spare you the details and just tell you that it's very typical to try different color combinations to get red hair right, but you DON'T CHALK THIS UP AS THIS CLIENT IS TOO HARD TO PLEASE. Hahaha, Reno, you desparately need to take a customer service class buddy, you have a thing or two or a million to learn!! Claudie you're very nice and competent, I'm sorry that I will be going to the BBB about Reno and his attitude. He is bringing you down! If you're human I would think twice about coming here. If anything goes wrong, God forbid... you will be treated like a 3rd class citizen. Regardless of your being on time, paying them lots of money, complimenting them when things go right, referring others to their salon, and just being a nice polite person overall. They OBVIOUSLY DONT APPRECIATE IT, take your money somewhere else. more

BTW, all those 5 star reviwes were solicited and many paid for...or else from the older ladies who frequent it and get the same cut over and over. Do not expect anything great. Do expect to pay a whole lot. They ruined my hair and my color. I went in for highlights and the Asian lady first thing put bleach on all my roots so that I HAD to go blond....and not a nice blond...orange!!! The cut, done by one of the owners, looked like an apprentice hair cutter did it and was very uneven.....they would not refund my money but asked me to come back for color correction......it was EVEN WORSE. They asked me to come back again. NO WAY!!!! Wish I could give it no stars..... more

I just moved here a 6 months ago to start Medical School and have never been to a ""salon"" to get my hair cut. I'm just a regular 22 year old who usually just goes to the cheap barber shop in the mall. I came to Prestige and Creation to to add some style in my life since I've been waring my hair the same way since I was 3. What an elegant place! EVERYONE was really nice and i was a little worried it'd be full of stuck up rich professionals. Not at all! They were all nice and very caring. I really look forward to getting my hair cut! Go to BREENE- she is an absolute pro at her craft, down to earth, and gorgeous. Always leave there with a smile on my face. it may be pricey for some people, but in this case you really get what you pay for. Go here, its worth it!! more

Being a forty three year old male with a full head of wavy salt and pepper hair, I decided to make a change. I have relaxed my hair in the past but read about the current wave of straightening hair, Keratin blow out. The process was more than I imagined and extemely impressed with the results. With my wavy and salt and pepper hair, my texture was on the side of course and dry. However, after my treatment the result was amazing. My hair is now staight and soft thanks to Saul. Saul took time to explain the process and upkeep. And I decided to go back for a haircut this week. What a great cut from Claudie (the owner) and Saul had told me about a new color treatment for salt and pepper hair, and I took the plunge and cut and colored it as well. I have had nothing but compliments from my friends and even my neighbors. I have frequented salons all over from New York to New Orleans to San Francisco and I give huge kudos to Saul for my Keratin and color and Claudie for my cut. more

Prestige and creation is the best there is. The styling is great and they give the best haircuts. Their products are amazing as well. The service is great and the people are friendly. more

I went for a brazilian blowout. Before I could do the blowout, they said it would be best if I colored it first. So I agreed. OMG!!!! A 30 min hair coloring process turned into a 3HR process!!!That Asian lady who had 20 yrs. of experience did a horrible job. The owner jumped in and tried to correct it. Mind u ,she had her own client to take care of...at the end of the day, it was still not the hair color sample that she pulled out for me. It was still 4 shades darker. way too dark. She told me with the brazilian blowout it will lighten up.. well next day I go for the blowout..when finish hair color is so patchy..At this point I'm so upset. The owner offers to redo my hair color in in 12 days.So I agreed. My blowout looked good . I was told that the blowout just relaxes your curls. Well I had well defined curls..got complainments everywhere I went. Well after a week I decided to wash it. OMG!!! not again. When I wore it natural, half of my hair was curly & the other half straight. My hair looks worse now than before. But it still feels healthier. My hair looks confused. I bought all the Brazilian Blowout line..not cheap..just so I can make sure I was going to get good results. What a waste of money. I spent amost $600 for bad results!!!!! So Saul calls me up a week later to schedule my hair color redo & offers me a $45 salon credit if I write a good review. Hell noooo!!!!! I stand behind for what right. People out there need to be aware. Maybe that's why they have so many 5 stars. hmmm. I think so. FYI did not go back for the redo. No more torture!! I would not recommend this salon to anyone. They own this dog that was in the salon all day barking. Unprofessional. Never again!!! more

I first came to Prestige and Creation a year ago for a Brazilian Blowout. I had the same treatment once before at another salon, but I had to wait five days to wash my hair and the chemicals made me sick. Saul at Prestige did my treatment in record time and I could wash it the next day. Needless to say I'm so glad I tried this salon because I walked away with the silky, shiny, frizz free hair vie always wanted and I've found the best colorist ever! Saul only does Brazilian treatments so he knows what he is doing! After several horrible experiences with colorists all over Houston I decided to try Claudie the owner. She is exceptional! Nomatter what I have told other colorists my hair always turns yellow and brassy with horrible streaks. I have just gotten used to going twice to other salons when it turns out awful the first time. For the first time ever my hair is that perfect shade of light blonde...no streaks or yellow! She managed to transform my awful mop into a fabulous shade of blonde in one visit! I can definitely say that I will be coming back for years to come and when I move I will even make trips here to see Claudie. Everyone at the salon is so friendly and professional. The prices are so reasonable for such exceptional service. Claudie has brought quality and precision French products and experience to Houston. more

Saul?s Brazilian Blowout was exactly what my hair needed to make my hair look healthier, smoother and shinier. My hair was damaged and brittle from using a flat iron every day and since my BB I just have to wake up and basically just go ? it?s wonderful and I cannot say enough about the results. Along with working with Saul, Claudie?s color and cut completed my new hairstyle and she is amazing at picking out the right color and style just for you. I walked out of the salon that day looking years younger and the compliments just keep on coming from friends, family and even total strangers. I tell everyone I can about the Brazilian Blowout because it made that much of a difference in my appearance. I am a HUGE fan of everyone who works here and love all of the services that I received. I will always be a customer and a continued fan of the Brazilian Blowout and of course just love and recommend highly Saul and Claudie! more

I went in for a Brazilian blowout and was reassured over the phone by Saul that it works on all types of hair. I have thick curly course hair and he said that I will love it. I had done a lot of research and read many reviews on different treatments and felt good about having the BB. more

i went in there for a guys hair cut and had the worst experience ever. I wasnt even acknowledged that I was standing there for awhile waiting on my appointment. As soon as i stepped into that salon i had already felt tension with everyone around. it just seemed tense. Like as i didn't belong there. lets not forget im the one paying for the services, i forgot to mention they have a dog walking around. why would i go to a salon with a filthy animal thats walking up and down the salon with its nasty master who(the owner) is really rude. I guess if your not French and blonde then you dont belong in this salon. The place is not even nice. to me it seems ghetto for them to be saying its an upscale french salon , ive been to better classier places i think i will stick those instead. all you will see there are white women with the same hair cut done all the time. i dont recommend men at all or young professionals. thats just my opinion . i cant believe i spent 60 dollars on my hair cut for a bad service. I have been going to Prestige and Creation for at least 3 years. Aleyda is the most consistent, precise stylist in Houston. I fear the day he moves back to California! She is wonderful and great personality as well. I travel all the time and I wait to come to Houston for my haircut. Everyone in the salon is very professional, courteous and skilled.! I appreciate the attention to detail and keeping the salon so clean. I highly recommend Prestige and Creation! more

I loved my last stylist, but they let her go for some reason. The new one is not half as good and seems to charge twice as much. She also pushes Prestige hair products, which don't always list ingredients. The salon is well-located and pleasant, and have read good reviews of the other stylists, but at this point I'm not sure I'll return given the sudden increase in prices with the new stylist combined with the lower quality I experienced with her. I went to Norma for my brazilian blowout and I had such great results - very different than the one I had done before. I have long really, really frizzy kinda curly hair and now it's virtually straight and definitely no frizz. I actually just wash and go for the first time in my life. (If you have kids like me you will greatly appreciate this!) She paid attention to detail and took her time with every step.
