The best New York City barbershop. 6/1/2011

When I first went to Prestige Barber Shop I thought it would be just another NYC barber and another expensive NYC haircut. I was completely wrong. It was a great place for a great haircut at a great price. I will never go to another barber again. They gave me a terrific haircut and a clean shave with a straight razor as all barbers once did. I liked the way I looked, felt and smelled when I left. The best New York City barbershop. more

i have been spending up too $50 on my haircut at my old mens salon. I found prestige barber shop online and now my hair cut looks twice as nice and twice as cheaper. Thank you guys! more

I have been going to Sasha years in different places he worked across Manhattan. Now that he has Prestige Barber Shop, the best barbershop in Midtown East, I see him all the time. You can't find a better place for men’s haircuts in NYC. It is a clean and efficient operation that gives men all they need to make the grooming experience superior. When I leave the shop I am completely rejuvenated. I especially like the royal shave. more

During the past year I have gotten my haircut in a at least a half a dozen NYC barbershops. Prestige Barber Shop was definitely the best when it came to quality, friendliness and price. When I walked in they greeted me as if I was a regular. The barber asked me exactly what I wanted done and he made sure I was completely satisfied. I loved the hot towel treatment and the razor shave. I was unaware that barbershops still did that. As a matter of fact one of those sports clip places told me that no one did that any more due to the risk of HIV. Well, they were wrong! more

The week before my wedding I was getting my haircut and someone suggested that I go to Prestige Barber Shop. I decided to try it and I liked the place so much I decided to give a gift card to all the guys in my wedding. Besides they were kind of a motley crew and would look better with a haircut anyway. I was surprised by how affordable they were. The guys all went there and they looked like a different bunch. My best man said it was the best haircut NYC had to offer. more

I was lucky to have found Prestige Barber Shop in Midtown Manhattan. The place not only gives a great haircut but also has the best prices around. The owner is Sasha who has been cutting hair since he was 12 years old in Russia. He has a very professional staff as well. I walked out looking good, smelling good and with a new dose of self confidence. more

I got the best haircut ever. 5/13/2011

I kept passing this barber on East 53rd St. and always saw all the activity with guys going in and coming out. I was curious why the place was so busy so one day I went in and got a shave and a haircut. They were so professional and friendly and I got the best haircut ever. They cut my hair to fit my style and personality. Plus I felt really good when I left. They are the best barbers in Midtown East if not the best barbers in Midtown Manhattan. more

I am back to going to a real barber. 5/10/2011

It seemed like years since I had a good haircut because I was always wearing my hair a little long and going to these super cuts places to get it cut. I missed the feeling of having a shave with a hot towel and getting the razor on my neck. Also the smell of the talc and that great smelling after shave. One day I saw Prestige Barbers and remembered someone said it was the best haircut in New York. I went in and had them give me almost a military look. I felt like a million dollars when I left. I am back to going to a real barber and Prestige Barber Shop is where I go from now on. more

My father was here from the Midwest and we were in New York and he needed to get to a barber as he had a meeting the following day. I told him about Prestige Barber Shop and he said he did not want to pay 100.00 for a haircut at a Manhattan barber. I explained that was not the case. I took him to Prestige Barber on East 53rd St. He was very happy with the haircut he received and also was surprised that it cost less than 20.00. He is still talking about it. more

The best haircut in NYC. 5/1/2011

If ever in midtown Manhattan head on over to Prestige Barber Shop for the best haircut in NYC. They give you the full treatment, not like these sports cutting places that try to get you in and out as fast as possible. Prestige Barber Shop still uses a razor and hot towel. All this for a price that is lower than the average barber anywhere. I very often travel from NJ to NYC just to go there for a haircut. It is the best haircut in NYC. more

The best barber shop ever!! 2/16/2011

Great place especially for busy professionals. You don’t have to make an appointment or wait too long to get haircut, shave or trim your beard. All barbers always friendly and very good with scissors or razors. So far no complaints. Prestige Barber Shop is definitely highly recommended. more

This is the best hair cut value around. The staff is all exceptionally friendly and very professional. They treat each person as a special guest and it makes you want to go back time after time. Midtown Manhattan barber shop 1/25/2011

I went to Prestige Barber Shop in Midtown Manhattan for the first time yesterday and was very pleased. Finally I found a barber who listens! I even got some great tips on how to recreate the style at home. The atmosphere is so friendly and service very reasonably priced. I highly recommend them to others. more

Great authentic barber shop feel. The place is really well kept and always packed. Obviously the guys know what they are doing. Everyone is on a first name basis and feels like a family. I really like going there for my Sunday haircuts. I could not ask for someone to better understand what type of cut I want. more

I love this place! I finally found a place that is filled with real barbers, not girly stylists. They talk to you when you want to talk; they leave you alone when you don't want to be bothered. Great place. They do not try to sell you all this random crap that women like to use for "silky smooth hair" so on and so forth. I am a man for crying out loud! I just want a great haircut and a shave. Love this place. Two thumbs up. more
