ive attented this church just passing by one day and decided to go there that sunday for worship the pastor meet us after church and he had a lot of hand to shake especially my family he was respectful like his wife maybe some people just dont seem to get it when i read the letter just pray fro the family and hope that they fall under good leadership the service was uplifting to the soul you have to be dead not to fill the spirit moving in this place i am so glad that i attented this church called POWER AND AUTHORITY the words alone tell you many things bless you pastor hughes and the church family Pros: if there were more like you pastor more

I agree so much with the previous writer (Soldout). Our church is a WONDERFUL church to be in if you want truth and a 1st family that lives and stands by the Word of God. Now if that is not what you want, you will not stay there. God moves by His Spirit on a daily basis here at our church. Understand that the Man of God has ministered and God poured out his Spirit in every service and he also has a family so if you have to meet, why not make an appointment for some one on one time that is needed. There is nothing wrong with that. Our Pastor loves meeting and talking to everybody, he is very hands on with the members and knows them all. Can't say that much about these big mega churches out there. Also, not sure if you were at the right church, but our Pastor does not push offering in the manner that you are making it out to be. If all you had was $20, then be proud of the money that is given and know that you are not giving to man to unto God. But as we always say that if this is the place for you, then pray and ask God about it and if He says yes, then we would be happy to have you (anybody) in this place, but always acknowledge God and he will not lead you wrong. But also understand that things that you do not understand about a Man or Woman of God, it is better to not say anything, for the Bible does say in Proverbs 4:7 more

I just want to comment to Briteye and say I LOVE MY CHURCH!!! I also want to say that it is very simple to get an appointment with the Pastor if you need one. However once you join you have to make sure that you go through New Worshipper orientation to finalize your membership. Our Pastor usually do not like to counsel other Pastor's flock out of respect. I am sorry that for one reason or another you may have experienced something from another preacher or person at the church. We are a very friendly church I think sometimes if you don't get connected in some kind of way you can become lost in the shuffle but that is just like any place. I also will say there is no perfect church and sometimes things do happen especially UNKNOWINGLY. I am sure if Pastor had of been informed of the said incident he would of most definately looked into the matter. I would encourage you to find out more about the next church you visit or join before making an commitment so maybe you will not feel dissappointed. Just whereever you go make sure God has placed you there. Of courese we would like to see you again and this time if you come ask to set up an appointment. In fairness to my Church my Pastor is a very busy Man of God but if you are a member and really need to talk to him he will make time for you. He loves people even down to the smallest member. We do not have a section for the biggest givers we are all equal. So I will say sorry once more. Our church is not hung up on how much money you give either so not sure what the 20 dollar incident was all about. Our Pastor lives a lowkey and modest lifestyle and he and his wife are always helping someone. I will keep you in my prayers please pray for me as well. more

just seems where ever we go its the same thing when we attened a church that we seem to fall in love with just as we are settling in something happens when we need to talk to the pastor its like set up and appointment and we are already there i guess things done decent and in order then the money we gave in the offering what we had then the other pastor kept on like link up wow we didnt know anyone there to link up with at all and we didnt have any left to form $20 when we took the money up there its like i said $20 dollar not a dollar but that was all we had since then we havent been back to the church we really did like this church pastor hughes especially but you know the bible says woe unto him that scatters his flock not saying we are perfect people just need some guidance and we always run into this and it makes us feel so bad when we dont have the money they ask for and when we give what we can its questioned why? Even though we work at nite we still made it to church but that not for a pat on the back either its just when will it be okay to go and worship and praise God in HIS HOUSE just pray for my family that we find the peace and quit going from church to church trying to settle into one its so hard to do for real either your judged on what you make or how you look or where you live and all this is in the church,when my grand son put that money up there and he said that it hurt him cause he said did he do something wrong so whre do we go from here. more
