Previous to the past year, I would have rated this mall a level four. It is well maintained and has a decent variety of stores. It does however lack the higher end stores that malls such as Crossgates in Albany and the Danbury Mall have. Recently, I became disgusted with the mall when they implemented a rule stating that anyone under 18 had to be accompanied by an adult. I am currently 20, therefore the rule did not affect me, but it did affect my family members. I think that if one is able to drive to the mall, they should be able to shop there. The Galleria's policy is discriminatory and disrespectful to the community as a whole. more

Very Popular Mall in Poughkeepsie 3/16/2006

The Galleria isn't one of my favorite malls, but it's decent. There are very suburban stores, such as Aeropostale, american Eagle, and Gap. However, they are getting better! the Galleria is putting in a Macy's, a Body Shop, and a Banana Republic, which will be exciting! I come here all the time to hang out with friends or just shop. There is a new rule that says on Fridays and Saturdays, anyone over 18 is not allowed to come without a parent. more

best mall in the area! 8/14/2005

The Galleria Mall is located right next to the South Hills Mall. This mall is the biggest mall in the area but definitely not the biggest in the state or world! It has nice stores like Abercrombie and Fitch but it does not have nice designer stores. It has lots of jewelry stores so if you need jewelry go there to that mall because they have the best selection in the area. They also have a good food court. I think you should definitely shop at this mall if you are in the area! more

Best mall in Poughkeepsie 8/9/2005

This is one of the main attractions in the small town of Poughkeepsie. Has your everyday stores, Abercrombie + Fitch, American Eagle Outfitters, Filenes, Sears, JCPenney, Kirklands, Ann Taylor LOFT, Gap, Gapkids, H&M and more. The Galleria Mall is great for hanging out with your friends or family. There is lots to do besides shopping too. Get a haircut, manicures, eat, watch a movie, etc. The 2-story mall is an average size which is perfect so its not too big. Definitely the best mall in Poughkeepsie! more
