Plum is so fantastic. It's the best place to get a gift for the person you have NO idea what to get for them! The owner is super nice and has great taste. I'm surprised someone worries about evesdropping in these reviews- that is a good sign of excellent customer service- and in that packed but not-large store, it's impossible not hear everyone, which is mostly just oohs and ahhs as they look at the cute stuff! more

Wonderful Merchandise - Helpful Service 9/13/2011

I love everything about Plum - from it's collection of cool stuff to the service. If you don't know exactly what you need the owner will assist you in finding just the right thing. And the prices are just right. There are many items for under $10 plus a great selection of higher-end pieces. And there's always new stuff every time I go back! more

Poor service 8/10/2011

The owner/employee at plum on 8/10/11 became extremely hostile after she eavesdropped on a conversation I was having with my sister about the price of an item. For future reference, don't make any comments on any item in this store because she will harass you. We left without making a purchase. It is extremely expensive as well. One recycled felt pillow made in the US is $120. The store is really just filled with a bunch of random junk. more

Plum on Magazine Street in Uptown New Orleans offers a treasure trove of unique and eclectic housewares that you won't find anywhere else in town. I love the designer dog beds, fabulous local jewelry and whimsical house products. Informative staff. more
