My single car garage was off the track, missing a roller pin, and with the drum cable disconnected. I really thought it would be nearly impossible to get it fixed. I called at 9 am and the visit was scheduled for 11:45 am for the same day. Will, the technician arrived ahead of schedule and was able to provide an affordable quote and guarantee of repair. He did an amazing job! My 14 year old door is working like new again. more

Great to work with! outstanding! The sales representative, Annette Polk, went out of her way to be helpful. After getting multiple quotes from many vendors, gave the best price, by a significant margin and then added weather seal. Robert the installer, was punctual, helpful, friendly, explained all that he did, did the job well in good time. Reminded of their lifetime warranty. Could not be happier, would use them again without a doubt! Anyone else would do well to use them also! Great job Plano Overhead Garage Door, way to go! A model of customer service! Plano Overhead Garage Door replaced my garage door torsion springs very quickly and with commercial duty springs with a lifetime warranty. They were prompt and called me before they showed up as requested. Nice people to deal with and I would highly recommend them. Full disclosure: I had them replace my builder's special garage door with a better quality one in 2006. The torsion spring that come with a replacement door is nowhere as good as replacement springs which are commercial duty. This is my second experience with them and both were very good. Reese came out this morning and was wonderful and speedy! He was very personable and had great customer service. We bought a short sale home where our garage door openers did not come with remote clickers and had not been serviced since it was built in 2008. It is almost miraculous the before and after...as they inspected, oiled, adjusted, programmed our automobile car remotes, etc. Being able to pay with a credit card was a bonus. Plano Overhead Garage Door replaced the spring on my garage door today. Service was prompt, courteous, and professional. The price was very reasonable. They installed the door and the automatic door opener 20 years ago and have serviced them a couple of times since then. Work has always been of high quality. more

When I bought my home ~6 years ago I required a new garage door and stipulated with the sellers I wanted them to purchase from Plano Overhead as I had a good experience with them in the past and my previous home. This week my spring broke on the garage door Tuesday morning on my way to a doctor's appointment. When I called I was told someone would be at my house between 11 and 11:30 AM; if not sooner. The technician arrived at 10:55 AM and was done by 11:30 AM. E.J. was great and efficient. I continue to be impressed with Plano Overhead's customer service and quality of work. Thanks for getting me back on the road! My only question is that the garage door and opener was purchased from Plano Overhead yet I was charged $295 for the replacement spring. I understand you give lifetime warranty at no charge so I am confused why there was a charge for the replacement spring. more

I had a spring break on my garage door over Labor Day. They actually called me on the holiday to make sure I could get my car out of the garage and then set up an appointment the very next day. Can't say enough about Kane and his customer service. Since then I've had them install the Liftmaster 8550. Again great service, set up all the remotes and answered all questions. I'll be a customer for life. more

He was very patient with all of my questions and he took time after the door opener was installed to show me how everything worked. Our garage door was original to the house and 25 years old. It was sagging, creaking and starting to split. We looked on Angie’s List to see which company had the most A ratings/reviews and chose to contact Plano Overhead Garage Door. We stopped by Plano Overhead Garage Door on 2/22/13 to get some information and Darci was the sales rep who helped us. She was very knowledgeable on all the different models. We scheduled a time for them to come out to measure our door on 3/1/13. We ordered the door we liked best and waited 2 weeks for it to come in. We chose the most insulated door in the carriage house style, chose nylon rollers for the least amount of noise, and spade decorative handles. We also purchased a new LIftmaster opener with the battery back up in case of power failure. Having had to lift a very heavy wooden door in the summer during the rolling blackouts, we never wanted to have to deal with that again. They installed the door on 3/15/13. They 2 technicians were prompt and did a fabulous job taking down the old door and opener and installing the new one. They cleaned up everything completely and made sure we knew how to operate the door manually and program the digital keypad. The door is so quiet when it is opening and closing. My husband startled us coming home from an errand because we didn’t hear the door. Not even our dog knows we are coming back in after being gone. We highly recommend Plano Overhead Garage Door! more

These guys were great! They fixed my broken spring right after it broke. The guy was really nice and it was cheaper than I figured it would be. I bought a remote from them over the counter at their new showroom on 75. Nice people, highly recommended! more
