Gone down hill 3/3/2007

At first it was a great, convenient place for our alumni to meet. We would all get together and view both football and basketball games. But after a while the service and the quality of the pizza and the salads (how can you screw up a salad) went down hill. I'm not sure if it was a new manager or a new owner. (I did enjoy the pizza when they were at their old location). The staff and management just were flat out, not very friendly. It was as if they didn't appreciate our business. Maybe the new location has thrown them back a step or two or three but as for now, there is no way that I would recommend or go back there. Pros: Large seating area Cons: Smoky, staff and management more

Smokey atmosphere everywhere. Below avergae pizza. 3/1/2007

VERY SMOKEY throughout entire restaraunt. I went on their family night and found it a joke to call it family night and smoke fltered across the ENTIRE restaraunt. more

Pizza Box is Pizza Hoax 3/1/2007

Very disappointing. After numerous visits during college football and baskball season, we were left with an empty feeling. Pizza isn't that good. Beer is overpriced and not that cold. Too smokey; no seperation between smoking section and non-smoking section. Management is never around and servers are not professional. Cons: Smokey, lackadaisical servers, mediocre food, beer overpriced, dirty restrooms more

Pretty good pizza 11/1/2005

I enjoyed the pizza very much. A nice crispy crust and great toppings and the spice blend was very good too. I was disappointed in the beer selection though, as they only had about 6 beers on tap. When I requested a beer menu, they didn't have one, but said they had around 50 beers in bottles. Also, I only saw 2 other people in the restaurant, but it was Halloween and a Monday night. Pros: Good parking, Good/Friendly service more

Great Beer List Also 11/17/2004

Not only great Pizza but a great beer list featuring one of Louisville's best Breweries, Browning's Brewery located at Slugger field downtown. The service is great and the customers are a lot of fun. Also have the NTN trivia and multiple TV for watching games and playing trivia at the same time. Pros: Pizza, Beer, Service Cons: , Location, Location more

Phenomenal Pizza 8/13/2002

Pizza Box pizza is the best I've ever had. The establishment in nestled into the backside of an older stripmall, and would be easy to miss if you didn't know what you're looking for. A hidden treasure, Pizza Box pizza is worth trying. Pros: reasonable prices, great pizza, beer club Cons: small dining area more

Little Known Best Pizza In Town 6/27/2002

This little hideaway is a favorite of the Ford truck plant crowd, and with good reason. The pizza is perhaps the best in town, with a crust that is near perfection and loads of terrific toppings. Appetizers, pasta, salads and toasted sandwiches fill out a simple but very good menu. Three sexy servers make you feel at home and attend to your every need. The place offers a rotating stock of over 100 beers, both bottled and draft. Ask one of the servers to start you a file for the 100-Beer-Club and plug away at it until you've tried 100 different beers. Upon completing your list, get a tee shirt and enjoy Happy Hour prices for life! Pros: Great beer selection, Sexy servers, Darts Cons: No coat rack more
