I am so excited that I dsicovered this place. I live downtown and I love goling here or ordering their amazing food for delivery to to go. It's fresh, healthy and convenient for us downtown dwellers. Pros: Location, Food, Variety Cons: Parking more

Fresh & Healthy! 7/2/2007

This place is great! Not only do they have great pizza, but the salads and starters and amazing also. Pros: Fresh & healthy ingredients, choices = a total thumbs up! Cons: You might not ever be going back to what you thought was your favorite pizza & salad place! more

Best pizza in L.A.or anywhere 6/26/2007

I was surpised to find such a fresh and happening place downtown during the lunch hour. Beautifully and thoughtfully designed restaurant, yet very casual and prompt service. Outside area too. Pros: Atmosphere, Service, more

Best pizza anywhere 6/26/2007

Ambience is very relaxed and service is excellent. I ordered the Tuscan Pie Pizza - a unique blend of potatoes, onions, and blue cheese - so amazing. And, the cashier told me that they get most of their ingredients and products from the famers' market. Don't leave without trying their chocoloate chip cookies to conclude your meal with. You'll be so happy. Pros: Ambience, price, and food more

Gourmet Pizza in Downtown 3/30/2007

These gourmet pizzas would be great for vegetarians but there aren't a lot of options for meat lovers. I tried the Pitfire sausage pizza that used freshly made sweet sausage. The sausage was quite good but there wasn't enough of it... there were only a few chunks of it spread across my pie. Also, Pitfire doesn't use tomato sauce, instead they have chunks of tomato on top of the cheese. This would be fine if not for the sourness of the tomatoes. Pros: Quick Service, Plenty of Seating Cons: No Parking more

Miglior pizza in LA (Best Pizza in LA) 3/28/2007

Well, this is by far the best pizza in LA. Trust an Italian. I mean, you are not in Napoli but it is the best that LA offers. My girlfriend and I (both Italian) go there often and we really like the dough. And, most important thing, the tomato sauce doesn't sound American ;-)))... Pros: Very good pizza, not a formal place, cheap, value for money, parking Cons: nothing more

Best place to chat with friends and light meals 3/20/2007

I like this place a lot. It's such a cute place to hang out or touch base with friends and having pizzas that are not so heavy on your stomach. I had shrimp pizza and it was good. more

Best Jury Duty Lunch 7/6/2006

WOW! What a treat to find this place. AMAZING food - woodfire oven pizzas, sandwiches, salads, and a ROCKING wine and beer selection. I was forced into Jury Duty for 3 months downtown and the places to walk for lunch in that area of downtown absolutely sucked. I ventured over to 2nd and Main and found this gem. Fast service, excellent selection of food and a great glass of wine to give me courage for the afternoon of very exhausting lectures on the law. My fellow Jury members and I quickly became regulars and I go there now for lunch or dinner if I'm in the area. They even do deliveries on those cool 2 wheeled standing scooters. FUN! Great to see downtown coming around. more

Could be better 6/30/2006

I live a few blocks away and they deliver, but after visiting a couple of times I haven't had the urge to order or go back. Its not that the food was all that bad, it just wasn't all that spectacular either. Service was mediocre at best both times and it seems to be a hang for students with laptops since they have wifi. The location isn't bad, the only parking is on the street as far as I could tell, and the interior is modern and comfortable. Pros: clean, comfortable Cons: parking, service more

pure artistry 3/28/2006

This place is a true gem. I was so happy to find a place that combines real cool atmosphere with some of the best food I have had anywhere. Their pizza is so good it makes all the others seem mundane. Beautiful artisan crust with flavorful toppings golden and bubbly with just the right amount of charred bits on top. You have to try it. My favorite was the Pitfire Sausage. But I can't wait to go back and try more. Can't miss. Pros: Organic Items, Great Design, Cool Music Cons: Only open til 10:30, Can get crowded more
