We came here with a large group. the place was empty, but I am told that they are very busy on some nights and reservations are recommended. The service was very nice and friendly. The ambiance was very interesting. We ordered the hinkali and hachipuri appetizers and a Georgian salad with basturma to start. They were quite good. Personally, I preferred the hachipuri, as the hinkali tasted somewhat bland. We also ordered several pitchers of their house wine, which is delivered from Georgia. The wine has residual sugar and no structure, but is very drinkable and complements the food well. For the main, I had lamb chops (chelohach) which was tasty but extremely fatty. I am told the lamb kebabs were much leaner but chewy. The fried potatoes with mushrooms were tasty. The price tag was reasonable, given the wine. Overall, I would probably come back here, not so much for the food as for the atmosphere.
Pros: Homey
Cons: The food is fairly average
