SIT AT BAR FOR HAPPY HOUR! 3/27/2006

Happy hour specials are for the bar ONLY.First, we had to seat ourselves. We had to go to the bar twice to serve ourselves drinks.Finally we flagged a waitress down & 10 minutes later she came by to take our order.She did not bother to check on us after our food came, she was too busy flirting with a table with guys. Our appetizers were not 1/2 off.The manager with an attitude came over & explained that the specials were only good at the bar.I told him I wouldn't have minded paying if the website stated that (he told me in a sassy way that he would check the website) & the service was lacking & we had to get our own drinks anyway. Don't go unless you plan to sit at the bar---maybe you will get some service there. & margaritas are terrible. Pros: tamales Cons: margaritas, bad service, manager with attitude more

Pink Taco Rules! 2/19/2006

I've been to Vegas several times and we always make it a point to go to the Pink taco even if we are not in the Hard Rock. The food is amazing and the service has always been good. I think it's all about attitude...anywho....A must for all who go - ask for the corn with cheese, it is to die for! It's on the menu with an entree but our waitress told us we could get it seperate, we did and do. more

we went there for happy hour 4-7pm buy 1 get one margarita. we ordered and found out aftwr that it was limited to certain flavors of margaritas the service wasnt so good since we had to keep flagging down our waiter and we ordered an app - 1/2 off and didnt get plates. We were seated quickly but the service wasnt so quick. Pros: good margaritas Cons: poor service more

What better to help a hangover than a nice cold margarita? This place has great drinks (a great tequila selection) and good food. Don't expect authentic Mexican food, but pretty good. Gotta love Pink Taco! 5/4/2005

I've been to Pink Taco every time i've been to Vegas and it's been great everytime. Buckets of beer, great selection of drinks, great food, fun atmosphere. Waiting for a table outside the restaurant in the hall isn't always that bad, it's a hot spot for celebrities! Sometimes the service can be a little slow, but for the most part they do a great job. The waitress was fun, the crowd is cool, and the food was awesome. The food was perfectly flavored. I WILL DEFINATELY EAT THERE WHENEVER I AM BACK IN VEGAS!!! On top of that, the Hard Rock is awesome anyways! more

Good, but Pricey 12/24/2002

I agree that the food and atmaosphere is good, but where does the Pink Taco fit in with Cheap Eats?? Although the food and presentation are good, the portions are small and expensive. A great place to go to lunch if you're on an expense account but NOT the place to go if you're on any kind of a budget. The Carnita and Shrimp Tacos are awesome! They are so different from tacos you may get at other places. The meat is tender and very flavorful. The quesadillas are also delicious. Hats off to the bartenders b/c their margaritas go down smooth and quick! I am in Vegas A LOT and this is always my first stop. The Pink Taco is a real gem of a Mexican restaurant. Service is impeccable and the food is to die for. They are a little pricey compared to other Mexican restaurants but it is worth it. Good food for the money. 8/6/2002

We stopped here for a light lunch or so we thought... while waiting for the table we noticed the cooks making homemade type corn tortillas.... by the time we finshished eating we polished off 2 baskets of chips, salsa, gucamole and a total of 10 soft tacos between us. Carnitas was good and the specialty chile cheese taco was excellent. I make authentic Mexican food and this was really pretty good but then again the Hard Rock if a favorite of ours anyway. We will definetly be back... Pros: good food more

Eat at Pink Taco! 7/17/2002

We ate at Pink Taco on a Friday night. Took a while to get a table because the hosts were socializing with each other. But the food was very good here...we enjoyed the queso dip, and I loved the cheese enchiladas with green sauce. Menu is limited but solid. Waitresses are beautiful also. Ask for a table overlooking the pool and check out all the eye candy. They also have a weekday happy hour where drinks are half price. more

Chanel rocks at the Hard Rock! 6/8/2002

We came on a Friday night, so there was a line to wait in before entering the restaraunt, but once we entered we were greeted by two gorgous hostesses. It wasn't long before we were brought to a table and greeted by our waitress, Chanel. Her service was as great as the Margaritas that she brought us were. Good, basic Mexican food 5/19/2002

The best place to eat here is out on the patio, where it's easier to carry on a conversation and you can enjoy the outdoors. The service is on the slow side, but the food is good. I recommend the fish tacos. more
