Located on over 300 acres of land, Pine Tree Apple Orchard is a lot more than just apple trees. They offer a wide variety of apples (Duchess, McIntosh, Honeygold, Crab, Beacon, etc.), as well as strawberries. During strawberry season, there is even a giant field where you can pick your own. There is a wonderful bakery that whips up all sorts of homemade goods with fresh apples and strawberries including pies, rollovers, donuts, rhubarbs, jams and jellies, cider and lots more. To celebrate the fall season, a pumpkin patch, wagon rides, a corn maze and live music are among attractions and events available for the whole family's enjoyment. more

Looking for a fun activity to do with the kids 8/18/2005

Pine Tree Apple Orchard has some great activities for families during fall harvest. You can go out to the orchard and pick your own apples and pumpkins, as well as take a walk through the hay maze. They offer hay rides in the fall, which the kids really enjoy. In addition to picking apples and pumpkins, you can check out their store and choose fresh apples, pumpkins, and many different baked goods and syrups, jams, and jellies. They offer a nice selection of different apples and you can sample them before you make your decision. The staff is also very knowledgeable and friendly. Be sure to have the kids check out the bees they have on display! more
