I was visiting my sister in NH and we ventured to RI / Thayer St after eating at a great little place called Fire & Ice... (also yummy!). Anyway, Pie in the Sky drew me in like a magnet... LOL. I couldn't get out the door without checking out everything in there. I ended up with several gifts for loved ones back home in NC. I plan on checking them out again and again..... I wish you guys had a website so I can buy some of your things. Maybe that's in the making???!!! Well, if you get a chance, go to the Pie in the Sky. You probably will not walk out empty handed either! more

cute little boutique 4/4/2006

This is a very funky (with a sense of humor) yet classy boutique on Thayer Street. I went in because I'm always shopping for jewelry and it seemed unassuming, which is a plus for me. The salesperson working was quite laid back, and since it is a rather tiny shop that's very important. I liked their varied selection of jewelry and kitchsy housewares. I went away with a Providence snowdome because I colllect them, and because it had flamingos in it, which I thought was hilarious. more

Eclectic store with good gift possibilities 12/7/2005

I love pausing in front of the Pie in the Sky window to see what the latest items are. Inside is a mix of inexpensive jewelery (sterling silver, amber), watches, cards, lamps, Burt's Bees toiletries, and other miscellaneous items that change from time to time. I've bought a nice wall clock and a beautiful leather jewelery case from this store in the past. The sensibility is somewhere between mod and hippie, and the staff don't frown upon browsing, so stop by and take a look! more

Pie In The Sky is a great little shop on Thayer Street that sells funky, arty, and also very elegant jewelry. They offer a great selection, and even if you don't find anything you like, which is unlikely, you can even design and make your own. That's always a fun activity, of course, but definitely check out the stuff they already mad, because some of it is really great. more

This small jewelry store has a wide selection of fashionable jewelry for almost every occasion. The store also features a “make your own” option where you can make necklaces, earrings, and bracelets for friends and families. The people who work there are also very friendly and can help you with making the jewelry if you have any questions. more
