Best

This vietnamese pho (noodles) restaurant is quite good in Chinatown. They also have a few others location around the City of Boston too. Their noodles, in my opinion, is the best ...

Very Good 2/14/2007

I've been a big fan of Pho Pasteur for years. They have absolutely great Vietnamese food. Far more than a typical 'Pho' joint, you'll find a number of very tasty non-Pho dishes. They have a few locations around town, but all of them take a bit of digging to find - well worth seeking out. more

Good Food, Great Price 2/10/2007

Lots of long tables where you sit pretty close to strangers, and no real decorations, but you certainly can't beat the food for the price. If the Washington Street location is too crowded (and it often is), you can go to their overflow restaurant just around the corner. I don't know anywhere else where you can get a couple of entrees, a pot of tea, and an appetizer for $25 including tax and tip. The Pho soups are filling and delicious, and they have a lot of varieties. The lemongrass is a favorite of mine. The servers are friendly, although sometimes it can take a while to take your order or bring the check (I think this has something to do with the long tables and it being hard to see people). It's a great stop pre or post theatre with the theatre district just a couple of blocks away. The complimentary pot of jasmine tea is wonderful. more

great food 9/25/2005

The food here is authentic Asian food, none of the American-Asian food that you find outside of Chinatown. There is always a wait, but there is another Pho right around the corner. The staff is friendly and very willing to help. If you are trying pho for the first time, you add the vegetables and then squeeze in the lime. There isn't any street parking here, but there are lots nearby. The food is also very cheap. more

Great Vietnamese Pho (Noodles) 8/6/2005

This vietnamese pho (noodles) restaurant is quite good in Chinatown. They also have a few others location around the City of Boston too. Their noodles, in my opinion, is the best in chinatown, with a price that is just about the same as everywhere else. They also have a large view on the washington street. Eating with a brunch or just by yourself is also suitable as they have table for different number of customers. Worth mentioning is their variety of drinks, like the Avacado Shake, etc. more

ok resturant 8/2/2005

this resturant is pretty good, they have food that's just all right, nothing to write home about. I like eating there because it's not too expensive and the atomosphere is quiet and relaxing. they have some pretty good tofu dishes, which I really enjoy since I don't know how to prepare it myself! more
