For people who think this place is so great, go down the road to Pho Saigon. The broth there is much better, there is more space to sit and the service is much faster. While I ate here only once, my friend and I ended right back to going to Pho Saigon. Pros: The prices are reasonable Cons: If you order anything but Pho, expect to wait, the seating is way to cramped together. more

""To pho or not to pho? That is the question?"" 7/13/2006

Finally, in a society in the culinary scene there is an authentic version of vietnamese. Being a big fan of asian food, most of the time you get a an Americanized version the food. This is true unless, you live in a city with a large asian population such as New York, Seattle, Tornoto, or San Franscisco. I found my entire time there enjoyable. One thing that one must do is go with friends or family. Friends and family will make up for the lack of ambienance. A must try!!! Pros: Value for your money, Spring Rolls, Service Cons: Ambienance more

best pho 6/30/2006

Just remember...the food is more important than the faded marquee. The spring rolls are unexpectedly good, and the pho is delicious. (Put the jalapenos in it, trust me.) Don't go expecting a fancy restaurant with candles and cushiony booths, but if you are just looking for an inexpensive lunch with a friend and great food, this is the place to go. Pros: pho, inexpensive, not crowded Cons: ambience more

Vermicilli and Egg Rolls are no good 5/27/2004

This place may have good Pho, I don't know since I didn't order that and I won't be going back. But, their vermicilli with BBQ pork & egg roll dish absolutely sucks compared to places like Cafe Kim and Ly Ly restaurant. It is usually my favorite vietnamese dish, but I was very displeased. We were the only people in there, and it was after 6 pm. Seemed very dark and old. I wouldn't go back. Pros: Cheap, Not Crowded Cons: , Bad Location more

best in utah 11/28/2003

Ok people, I have been in Utah about four years now and after eating at every Vietnamese place here, I will honestly say Pho 99 is the best I found. It is as good or better than the majority of pho restaurants I have eaten at in Vegas and California (L.A. to Sac). I have probably eaten there 20+ times, and never have I seen a non-Asian person in there. If you want go Vietnamese food, go where Vietnamese people go. *trust me, get#3 Pros: good food, CHEAP!!, Market next door more

worth your money! 7/23/2002

Portions are generous and very cheap. This is the first restaurant that offered more noodle in the pho than any others I have gone to. The quality is good and I don't notice any difference from the higher priced restaurants. Although it's in a strip mall on the west side, I like the quiet and relaxed atmosphere. Other crowded places make you feel rushed. Pros: inexpensive, generous, quiet Cons: quiet, dirty, cash only more
