If you love to eat and shop then the markets are great. Plenty of food choices in the Reading terminal and lots of shopping to be had at both the terminal and the italian market. more

THE GOOD OLD DAYS 7/26/2002

AT 41, I'VE BEEN COMING TO THE MARKET BEFORE I COULD WALK. MY GREAT-GRANDPARENTS USED TO BRING ME IN ON THE TRAIN AND WE'D SPEND THE DAY WALKING THE MARKETS. AS I GREW OLDER THE TREAT WAS GETTING RICE PUDDING AT THE END OF THE DAY! THE ITALIAN MARKET IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST PLACE TO GET THE BEST FOODS AT THE BEST PRICES. EVERY VISITOR SHOULD EXPERIENCE IT AT LEAST ONCE. WHENEVER I MISS ""MOM & DAD"" I HEAD FOR THE TERMINAL AND RICE PUDDING. more
