I have been going to Miss Sharon @ HairArtistry for about a yr. I have been very pleased w/results. I have very difficult, caucasian-stick-straight mousey grey hair. I had worked as Hair Demo Model in my younger years for some of finest stylists in world (for their time, such as: Horst Rechelbacher of Aveda, Fernando Romero (former Int'l Dir. VidalSasson & owner/developer Bio-onics, Inc); Trevor Sorbie (worked w/Mary Quant in hey day of Mod look); Zack Taylor of Neil Sloan-Bev.Hills - Before Jose Eber, cute Zack did Liz Taylors hair). I have had many more excellent stylists. Many great & cute haircuts and glamerous updo's. \r
For now, I like my hair in a-symetrical Bobb as in Rhiannon & PoshSpice. She cut it just the way I like it; and I get so many compliments on my ""rock-star"" color & cut!\r
I can not understand why Sharon only got 3-star rating, because she is a)hugely popular & hard to book with & b)she does beautiful work incl. many complex chemical & weave/extension proceedures). While her neighbrood salon could be described as ""Urban-Ethnic"" she is able to do my aging caucasion hair better than anybody I've attempted in my 2 yrs in Philadelphia. Some very high styled looks & women walk out the door of her Salon! Lots of stylists claim to be diversified and flexable, but none seem as capable as Sharon.
Pros: Great cuts, Great Color, Ambient Service, Price is right
Cons: No complaints
