DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!!! there is black mold everywhere in these apartments!!!!!!!! the maiteinence guy is the laziest person I have ever met and they take foreverrrrr to come out and fix things! we had black mold growing and eating away at the ceiling and they came down and just sprayed plaster over it then it started eating away at other areas and instead of fixing it for us they just kept covering it with plaster. so then we were forced to move out a month early because our health was at risk and they charged us over $1000!! the people are horrible to deal with there seriously do not move in this place!!! more

We moved in May of 2010 and since then its been nothing but hell. I've lived in an apartment before when I was younger and I didn't have to deal with half of the crap that I deal with here. My one and a half year old son has severe allergy problems because of the black mold growing everywhere in this building. They have raised the rent $30 in a year stating its for water in sewage but personally I think its their way of raising rent without dealing with the whole 3% they are legally allowed too. Some people I know have to pay $50 for their water and sewage, most houses out here don't even pay that. The office staff is rude, and gets into your business, and leaves handy little notes on the door when something is wrong. My son has recieved several splinters from the playground because its unkept. Back by the lake there is literally dog fieces EVERYWHERE, including it being smeared on the side of the building. You can walk in the grass without getting it on your shoes. Everything about this place is horrible. I recommend to everyone not to move here, once your here you are stuck forever. If you try and tell them you can't afford it and want to move they tell you that they will take you to court and THEY WILL WIN!!!! This place should be condemmed. DIsgusting. more

Seemed nice at first, going down hill. 6/4/2011

I moved here originally because it was a good area, the rooms were nice and big, and the staff was super friendly. Now I can't wait to move out!!!! We have had non-stop problems with the staff, they are different each time I have to stop in the office. Maintenance doesn't fix anything properly. I have had constant problems with the a/c, it will work for a few days then it goes out when it's hottest and office says we'd be lucky if they make it in today or they will fix it tomorrow. It would be tolerable to not have a/c that we are paying for if the pool was open, but they have yet to open the pool with this heat and we are well into June. When we signed the lease they paid for water. Six months into our lease they tape a note to our door saying we are now required to pay $53 dollars for water a month. All the neighbors in my building have agreed that when the lease is up they are moving, and one of them has been here for over 10 years. The gym is crap, the laundry room is expensive, no one uses tennis courts because kids all over it. Kids are always on basketball court. Play ground unkempt. Do yourself a favor and DON'T MOVE HERE! . more

HORRIBLE 6/1/2008

The people who posted that Perry Lake is awesome either work for Perry lake or are on serious d r u g s.\r \r The complex is the G H E T T O. Late night parties, p ot smell, large dogs that p o o p and p e e everywhere, huge spiders, dirty apartments, horrible management?need I go on?\r \r This is skank city. The only thing good is low rent, and you get what you pay for.\r \r Go to Perry Lake about 9:30 p.m. on a Friday night and walk into the hallways. There is no security and anyone can get in. Smell the smoke, hear the hillbilly music blasting. \r \r Then call the Perrysburg Police and ask them how often they are at Perry Lake.\r \r Kids p e e on the building and run wild. Dog p o o p everywhere. Vicious breeds, too.\r \r If you want to live in Hell, Perry Lake is for you!!!!\r \r Two words: WHITE TRASH Pros: Cheap rent Cons: loud music, dirty apartments, no maintenance, bad management, creepy tenants, b ugs, d r ugs, b oozers, losers more

AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME 4/7/2008

I live in the 2 bedroom contemporary apt. and face the lake. It is wonderful. Everything was new when I moved in. It is extremely quite (aside from hearing a little bit of highway traffic when the windows are open). The landscaping is nice. It is far back enough off 20 that you aren't being annoyed by anything. However, when you want to go someone there is every store imaginable around here. It has a nice pool and fitness center. The management is great. Both times I have called maintenance they sent someone out within 15 minutes. I like it here so much that I am going to renew my lease. more

Great apartment; great staff 3/16/2007

We just moved in to Perry Lake Village in January. It's super! We moved from another state and needed to find an apartment that accepted pets in a hurry. We called Perry Lake on a Wednesday and got moved in on Saturday of the same week. They are very accomodating and got us a ground floor apartment because we have dogs, and we overlook a great park area. And because we would be arriving late at night, they left our apartment open for us and hid our keys in the apartment for us. We had a problem with the stove the first day and maintenance brought us a new one right away. The service has been great and the location couldn't be better. We're right by the interstate and there is a grocery store walking distance, and plenty of restaurants to choose from. It's very quiet here too. I recommend Perry Lake Village. Pros: Accept pets; good location; great service Cons: No covered parking more

extremely sloooow processing 11/9/2006

If you want to move within a month or two ... you are taking chances by trying to get into perry lake village. There are plenty of apartments available, but it took longer than a month to actually even get a move in date. I was definately not impressed with the management. Cons: takes a long time to actually move in to apartment, unprofessional more

Great home & location 8/24/2006

Where I live, eveyrthing I need is less than 3-5 minutes away. It's surrounded It's right off of Route 20 and the expresway is less than one mile away. The apartment itself is nice. i have 925 sq.ft. and a balcony with bath and a half. Another good thing is that it is at the end of a lane that is behind a brand new sub division, so it is pretty quiet where i live. I have lived here for a year and a half, and the management is amazing. The maintenance actually comes to fix your appliances whenever you call. The longest I have had to wait on something was a day and a half. and that was because they needed the part. (They also have 24 hr. maintenance). \r They have a state of the art laundry mat, but i also have a washer in my building. a fitness center and a pool. \r By the way they do accept pets, I just got my Yorkie!!! Finally!!! If you have a dog, take it to ""The Doggy Boutique"" at Levis Commons. It's so cute! Pros: Balcony, lake view, fitness center Cons: no covered parking more
