I have been a customer for about a year now and not only do I have my hair regularly cut by Cara, she also took care of my wedding... and two friends weddings with my recommendation! They have a bunch of stylists and do nails, hair, waxing.. everything you could need for the big day or any day. Very pleased and I always tell friends and family about this spa in the heart of catonsville. No more parking downtown! more

I was sick to death of getting terrible haircuts and was searching for a place or person that would/could listen and at the very least give me a nice one. I found this site and was reading the reviews on Perfect Touch Salon and Spa in Catonsville. Figured it wouldn't hurt to give them a try....had never been there before so I went. I must say....the operator I was assigned to was great. Not only did she listen to what I was trying to tell her (Me....not being a hair person), she made suggestions too. Most hair stylist I had been to before...listened and just went ahead and did what they wanted..but not this time. I opted for a new hair style and a coloring (something I had only ever done once in my life). While the coloring is somewhat darker than I expected (and that's ok.....hair grows)..the cut is awesome. Prices were a tad on the high side but it is worth the extra cost. I know I will be going back. I certainly recommend this place. more

I have always struggled to find a stylist who could cut my naturally curly hair. I was so used to bad haircuts that I just got used to them. After reading a review that I saw on this website for Perfect Touch (thanks Sarah!) I decided to give them a shot. I'm so glad that I did!! I finally got a haircut that I am in love with! The stylist I saw was named Nina and she listened to every concern I had regarding my hair. She took put layers in and went through 3 times to make sure everything was even. I have gotten so many compliments on my hair, which I never got before. more

I don’t get my hair cut very often, and when I do get it cut, I’m almost never happy with the result. I have super-curly hair and many stylists just don’t know what to do with it, so I tend to just let it grow and grow until I get really sick of it and then I get it all cut off and start the process over again. I’m also cheap, so I don’t want to shell out $150 or more for a stylist trained specially in New York to cut and style curly hair. At this point I’ve tried all of the stylists my friends have recommended as well as chain salons and they’ve all been pretty much the same (which is to say, not very good). When I reached the “I’m sick of it” point again this spring, I was out of options so I decided just to try the salon closest to my house. Even if they were no good, I figured at least I wouldn’t be spending a lot of time and money getting there. Well, it turns out that the stylist at the Perfect Touch Hair Salon and Day Spa was wonderful. She gave me a cut that actually had some shape to it (as opposed to coming out looking like Little Orphan Annie) where I could wear it down, not pulled back, with just a minimal amount of goop in it. Mousse, I mean. It’s so flattering that after years of always having my hair long, I’m thinking of keeping it short from now on. While I was waiting for my turn, I noticed that the other people in the salon seemed to be regulars—people coming in for manicures and haircuts who knew the staff and stylists well, which says to me that I’m not the only one who was pleased with the service there. I’ll definitely be going back. more
