Perfect Skin and Body Holistic Salon

I have been going to this salon for years, both with the previous owner and now with Charles. While it is not the glitziest, it is very friendly and they want you to be satisfied. Unfortunately, I have called repeatedly in the last couple of months...no answer. I drove by several times and the place appears to have closed. Does anybody know whether they are still in business? If Perfect Skin moved to a different location, I will go there, but I really want to know if they simply shut down. more

I HAD MICRODERM DONE THERE AND MY FACE WAS GLOWING THE NEXT DAY. THE PRICE WAS UNBLEAVABLE, I MEAN $75 FOR MICRO IS DECENT PRICE. I LOVE THAT. I went to Perfect Skin and Body Holistic Salon for my second visit there. The first visit I had a wonderful facial by Veronica. The second time I had facial waxing and the all natural spray on tanning done by Honey. The esthtetician was gentle and thorough with my waxing and I was very pleased with the service. As for the tanning, I look as though I had been to a tropical island and had many compliments. Overall the experience was relaxing and satisfying at the Salon and I will return again in the future and refer friends. Pros: Great atmosphere and friendly professional service Cons: None more

I was walking up westwood and I just saw the place so I walked in. by interacting with the estetitian, i felt really comfortable getting a facial from her. Her name was Honey.. shes amazingg!!!.. she gave me the best facial ever.. Their prices are pretty good also!... I always go there now.. I honestly don't know who is writing the reviews for this place, except that after visiting for my first (and last time), I can guess it's probably either friends/family of the employees or the employees themselves. I went in for a facial and was uncomfortable with how many times they asked exactly how I found out about them ("oh was it google or citysearch?" "oh so what did you search for in google when you found us? were we first?....etc etc). I also felt a strong sales pressure throughout the entire experience...from pushing me to get a more expesive facial to asking OVER suggesting purchasing the packages offered and even lining up 10 different products after the facial and recommending them all to me. It was just toooo much. The girl who did my facial was nice enough, aside from the fact that it was VERY clear she was not knowledgeable about her trade. I asked her very direct questions that she evaded with generalities. I didn't really trust her advice whatsoever. The facial itself was satisfying, although the interior of the spa was decrepid at best and badly needs a makeover. Also, listening to the other staff gossip outside my room is not my idea of a relaxing experience. The general sense I got was that the place is very low on business and desperately trying to stay afloat. I'm not going back. Thank goodness for this place! I felt so invigorated, energized and relaxed all at the same time. I had the pleasure of enjoying the massage and reflexology services. They are none like I have experienced ever in my life! The staff is pleasant, the ambiance is great. I would definitely recommend this salon to anyone who would love to be pampered and wants to have long-lasting effects from their services. Then this is the best place to go! Enjoy! I went to Perfect Skin & Body Holistic Salon for waxing and all natural spray on tanning. When I walked into the salon there was soothing music playing and a wonderful aromatherapy scent. The fountain added a relaxing touch and my experience there was wonderful. I had my entire face waxed and the staff was very professtional and good at what they did - it didn't even hurt. The all natural spray-on tanning was so great that I have been back several more times for that service. People told me I looked like I'd been to a tropical island somewhere. This unique spa experience is a plus to the Westwood area. Enter their doors and hear the sounds of a relaxing streaming water fountain and soothing music. I've had the eyebrow wax which is great. I tend to break out but this time, no bumps. Mariah, the esthetician is awesome as well as funny. The sitting room has herbal tea and bottled water for your enjoyment while you wait. I've also had a session with Charles, he does reflexology. Trust me; Charles knows his stuff when it comes to nutrition and wellness. That is what differentiates this salon from other spas; they focus on the entire body, from head to toe. You never feel rushed, just relaxed and well taken care of by the caring and knowledgeable staff. more
