... one star is much too high for this place 2/11/2008

I came to Perfect Fingers because a friend gave me a gift certificate for a mani and pedi. If i had actually paid for the services, i think i would have seriously thought about asking for my money back. I wanted my nails painted red, but the manicurist said she wouldn't do it because the red would show chips more quickly... so i chose a clear-ish color... she cut my cuticles and then some, but instead of cleaning the wound properly she covered it with clear nailpolish, which looked great (hint of sarcasm there) underneath the clear nailpolish. She used a really old goopy topcoat, so you could see and feel every single brushstroke on every single nail.. my nailpolish had already chipped by the time i got back to the car (.. thankfully my nails weren't red, right?). A few days later i went back to my regular nail place, and my manicurist even commented on how horrible my manicure looked. more

great customer service and # 1 on sanitation 9/22/2007

this salon / beauty spa is very clean and is a rare find where they still use small foot tubs for pedicures. They plastic wrap each foot tubs for sanitation and use Sterilization pouches to keep instruments clean & fresh for each clients. I love the service here because I can get a good clean basic pedicures for only $21, and when I want to feel more pampered, I would go for their luxury pedicure which includes sea salt scrubs ,milk lotion wrap & aromatherapy massage.\r Highly recommended !\r \r \r \r \r \r \r \r \r \r \r Pros: clean, safe, inexpensive Cons: appoinments needed on weekend because they are very busy more

Waste of money 9/14/2005

This was my first French manicure. It costs $15, which isn't too bad. The beginning of the manicure was pretty pleasant and pain free, even included a small hand massage. But before the paint job, I was asked to pay, but I tipped at the same time with my credit card since I didn't have cash on me (about 15%). After the tip was the paint job, and thats when it started to go downhill. First, she went WAY too fast and didn't let enough time for each layer to dry. Then after she was all done, my nails had small bubbles in the polish, and I pointed it out to her, which she tried to solve by just painting another layer. I could still see the bubbles! And now hours later, my polish is cracked all over my nails. That was a complete waste of money. Pros: Inexpensive, No Wait Time, Hand Massage Cons: Rushed Paint Job, Bubbles Formed, Polish Cracked more
