Get the Green (tomatillo) not the red hot sauce 12/22/2009

I love to go to Pepe's in the morning for a burrito that is so big I cut it in half and have part for breakfast and the rest for lunch. Try their combo burrito with your choice of meats (Asada, Chicken, Shredded Beef, or Carnitas) and your choice of either beans or rice. I prefer the beans. The combo burrito also comes with fresh salsa inside made with cilantro and fresh sweet onion. Try the carnitas - they are very good.\r \r But, instead of asking for red hot sauce, get the green tomatillo - it's much more flavorful. The red sauce has little flavor and tastes like they put dried chilies in the blender instead of fresh.\r \r All in all a good value. Pros: Big Servings - Great Carnitas Cons: The red blender hot sauce isn't very good, but the green is more

BEST BREAKFAST BURRITO IN SOCAL !!! 4/21/2008

Pepe's has the best breakfast burrito around. The food is authentic and always delicious. Taquitos are also a must to try. This place is always so busy but the service is quick and it is always clean. 5 STARS !!! Pros: Freshly prepared food. Cons: Wish there was a location closer to my work. more
