The Best Chinese Food We've Found in Redmond 4/10/2006

My family loves Chinese food and ever since we have moved to Redmond we've been on the lookout for a great Chinese restaurant. Well, this one is it. Actually, I have to admit that we have never eaten in the establishment but we have ordered out from it time and again. The food is wonderful, and the prices are in the upper-middle range. If you like beef, make sure to try their Mongolian Beef - but it is all yummy stuff. Two thumbs up! more

Excellent Food, Excellent Service 3/13/2006

This is one my favorite places to take the family for dinner; the kids especially enjoy the the family tables with the turntable so they can spin them until their favorite food comes around. We generally have have chef's special combination dinner, with the sizzling rice soup, which is delicious, and fun to watch them put together (thing of snap crackle pop on steroids). Prices are reasonable. The restaurant is located between the McDonald's and the Value Village shopping mall, so when you first drive in you may think there is no parking, but be sure to actually pull in front of the restaurant, as there is usually parking there. more

Upper-Mid Chinese restaurant 12/6/2005

I used to live in Redmond and drove by this strip mall (with Value Village) all the time, but never even noticed this restaurant. It had been recommended to my sister, so we went there and I got one of the combo dinners. In my experience, Chinese comes in 3 forms: Greasy Spoon (this place on Broadway I can never remember the name of), Mid-Range (Peking probably is on the upper end of this, and High-end (Shanghai Garden in the ID -- not expensive but really great food). I thought the service here was very nice and friendly and I would definitely go back when on the eastside. I think the Mongolian Beef was the best part of my meal, so maybe check that out. more

Hot and Sour Soup 9/6/2005

I have noticed that hot and sour soup often doesn’t come with pork these days, even if you order a large bowl of it. This hot and sour soup does have pork in it, but they also put shredded carrot in it which I found unusual, but not bad. This is a great place for a quick inexpensive lunch ($5.50-7.00). They even have a teriyaki chicken bowl. more

Good Food, Good Prices 7/12/2005

Peking is one of my favorite Chinese resturaunts in the Redmond area. The people have consistenly been nice, the food is always quick, hot, and tasty. I recommend going for lunch -- the lunch specials are the best deal and you still get a ton of food! Try the Orange Chicken -- it's their specialty and my favorite. more
