There arent many good dining options on the road to Vegas. But Peggy Sues wont let you down. There are two locations, but this is my favorite. I like the set up a lot better, ditto on the location. You never know if youre going to be dining among a busload of senior citizens or a whole platoon of marines from the base next door. The food is good, maybe a bit on the greasy side but out here you really cant complain. I prefer their breakfast dishes to their burgers. The decor is great, the music fitting, and theres even an adjoining souvenier/nostalgia shop. The owner, Peggy Sue, was once an actress in Hollywood. So, theres also a lot pictures of her with various celebrities and in various film projects.
Pros: good food, nostalgic vibe
Cons: a little greasy, can be crowded
