Administration and Technology is sub-par 1/7/2015

Over the years, my son has seen several doctors at Pediatric Associates. Dr Roskin is by far the best pediatrician in the practice. He is attentive and knowledgeable, with great bedside manner. While the doctor is great, when we can, we go elsewhere because of the poor technology and administration. It is nearly impossible to get a message to the doctor or talk to a nurse -- not patient friendly at all. Unlike other health care facilities in the region, there is no on-line communication or records available. The phone system is archaic. The administration has lost records on multiple occasions. It is unfortunate, because Dr Roskin is a great physician. For a healthcare facility the size of Pediatric Associates, they really need to invest in process management and their IT infrastructure. more

Not helpful 8/17/2011

Saw one of the docs here for my kids. Doctor did not have a lot of compassion. Did no make eye contact. Seemed mostly interested in making sure they worked to prevent any liability. I won't go back. Just our experience - maybe others have had positive experiences. more

My opinion 2/8/2011

I was looking for Pediatric Associates' phone number to make my son an appointment and found these reviews. I feel I have to add my opinion. My son has been seeing the doctors there for 8 years and I have never had a complaint. I always get an appointment when there's an emergency. Their schedule runs pretty close to on time which is really important when you have a feverish and unhappy child. The staff and doctors are friendly and knowledgable. They have someone on staff who will answer questions regarding medications, etc. over the phone. I highly recommend Pediatric Associates. more

Poor workmanship 10/6/2009

At birth, Dr Landesburg did my sons circumcision, it was done with a plastic cap and later had to be redone by a surgeon at Evergreen, (Dr Burns did the reconstruction - he was outstanding by the way). My son was just 3 years old and cound not pee straight. I wouldn't recommend this Dr. more

Great Experience Over 10 Years 2/24/2008

I checked the website for an address and found the reviews by accident. After reading them, I thought I'd put in my 2 cents! I've taken 3 kids to the Pine Lake office over the last 10 years. I've never had a sick child that couldn't be seen the SAME DAY. We've seen different doctors and haven't settled on one because they all have been great. We've had stitches, illnesses, immunizations, check-ups, physicals, and all sorts of other childhood problems taken care of here and I have been very happy with the results of all. I've found the staff and front desk helpful and friendly, even when I was stressed! The people that work in this office do a good job and deserve some credit! more

really bad doctor's visit 1/28/2008

NEVER take your kids to Dr. Jeffrey Landesburg. He gave my son vaccinations when he had the flu at two months old. The Dr. lied to me about taking his temperature. and told me that he had expressed concerns about the vaccinations to my girlfriend, when it was she that had misgivings about vaccinating him. The Dr's exact words were "i see no reason why he could not have the shots today." Needless to say we ended up at the hospital the next day with my son's temperature at 101degrees. Just to let you know. more

Good Pediatric Office - Sammamish, WA 12/11/2005

I just started going to this pediatric office and I think they are very attentive to you and your child's needs. The receptionist can be a little brusk and I am often on hold for quite a bit of time. The office can schedule you for an appointment on very short notice, which many other practices won't do. They are prompt at returning telephone calls, provide accurate billing and of the two doctors I have seen at the practice, both were very knowledgeable and provided me with a great deal of information. They are obviously very qualified doctors. more

Looking for a Pediatrician 12/1/2005

I have been taking my son to Pediatric Associates for the last 2 1/2 years and have been happy. The appointments run pretty close to on time, I've never had problems getting an appointment at the last minute (though sometimes with another doctor), and I've been happy with the three doctors we have seen there. When I've had to call after hours with questions, someone always gets back to me with answers in a decent timeframe. The front desk folks could be a little more friendly, but it's a smooth operation. more

Great staff and facility 12/1/2005

We move around a lot and have been very pleased w/ the staff and especially Dr. Hung who practices out of the Pine Lake office. Dr. Hung explains procedures, is patient and attentive w/ my children and never seems annoyed w/ questions or concerns that I bring up. Unlike many offices we've been to, we are actually seen within a few minutes of our actual appointment time. The only thing I'd like to see is separate waiting areas for sick and well patients. more

mostly good experience 8/18/2005

They have multiple offices on the east side of Seattle. Each office usually has several doctors. So your kids probably won't always see the same doctor. This can be good and better. It's good you can sort of get multiple opinions, but can be not so good if you really like a particular doctor better. But multiple doctors do provide better office hours. Especially weekend hours. If your kids are sick, they usually can get you an appointment pretty quick. more

My kids love Dr. Roskin 8/17/2005

In the two and a half years I've had kids we've tried three different pediatricians, but I'm pretty sure our bouncing days are over. Dr. Robert Roskin at Pediatric Associates in Pine Lake is where we'll stay. The office is your usual dedicated pediatric place located in standard suburbia. It's got a fish tank and toys to distract the kids and an efficient front desk staff to move you through. Although Dr. Roskin is clearly in high demand (it seems everyone we know sees him) he makes you feel like your kids are the only ones he's concerned with. We've gone in for both scheduled and unscheduled appointments and usually have no problems finding a time. Often, we get in the same day. My older daughter (2.5 years) really likes Dr. Roskin and can remember his name (no small feat). "We're going to see Dr. Roskin!" she cries, though it's not always that clear. The Pine Lake office is part of a larger medical group (http://www.mypediatricassociates.com/), but feels like an independent clinic. more
