Pearl's Oyster Bar

Honestly, I don't like giving bad reviews. But because this place not only made me sick, but the customer service was the worst in town (or any place I've ever been in my 41 years). My waitress was inattentive, I could see her underwear because her dress was so short and I could see through her tights (this place is in the Reading Terminal Market, a place for tourists and families). I was treated without respect and felt cheated with the frozen shrimps. The coleslaw was watery and flavorless (I think I saw it being poured from a plastic container) and the boy at the cash register gave me attitude when I read the check wrong and gave the wrong amount to pay. I will not only never go back here, but I am trying to tell everyone about this poor quality restaurant with complete lack of customer respect. more

Tried the bluefish there recently. It was gray in color and did not taste fresh. Served with green beans that seemed canned. Decent cole slaw though. The oysters they serve here are not memorable either and are generic in variety. There are better seafaring bets close by in the market...throw the line back and look elsewhere! more
