I initially went to see Gary when my 5 yr. old daughter was diagnosed with a serios auto immune disease. The prognosis was potential remission, after an extremely invasive/scary conventional treatment that included high doses of steroids over many years. The conventional doctors, who are considered the local experts in this illness, told us that they had never seen an exception to the normal progression. Within a month of seeing Gary, he had reversed the path of this disease, and my daughter was symptom-free. It has been three years since we first saw Gary, and he has become one of the most important people in our lives. The conventional doctor's have finally conceded that my daughter did turn out to be an exception: the illness never progressed and there was never a need for additional treatment. I feel very lucky to have found Dr. Jill Ghormley. She has successfully treated what has been a four-year battle with giardia. Now only does she know her stuff, but she is also smart, fun, and interesting. I really appreciated that she would see me either early in the morning or on Saturdays so that my treatments did not affect my work responsibilities. After an initial thorough assessment, she gave me options for treatment, by price, so that I could choose what was within my budget. She is easy to reach via email between treatments. At my regular doctor I was diagnosed with myofacial pain syndrome and sent to physical therapy to learn excercises I could do to fix the problem. Over the course of weeks, the pain got worse until I was in constant pain. Finally I sought naturopathic help at Pearl Natural Health. Dr. Weiner had me go on an anti-inflammatory diet and the results were dramatic. Within two weeks I was in pain only occasionally and within two months I was pain free. I had been in pain for more than 15 years! Now I wonder why such a simple decision to seek alternative help wasn't done earlier. Last year I started having allergic type reactions to certain foods.
