Best

Best Place to eat in the neighborhood. I take all my out of town visiters there. . .its just nice and the food is great.

Worst

Good food and friendly (but inconsistent) service at Pazzo's 2/14/2006

I think Pazzo's pizza and calzones are consistently good, but the service is variable--sometimes very quick, sometimes a bit slow. I haven't ever been for lunch. Happy hour (4-6, I believe) drink specials, but no food specials. more

I used to go here all the time 2/2/2006

I really liked pazzo's good lunch specials and casual atmosphere. They used to have really friendly waitresses that were competent and timely. Over the past 3 months or so, the food, service and timeliness have gotten consistently worse. I don't ever make it in there anymore (used to be weekly). I hope something turns back around, but I won't be back until then. more

The Best BBQ Chicken Pizza ever 11/11/2005

I've been going to this pizza place ever since it opened 16 years ago. My favorite Pizza or Calzone is the BBQ Chicken Pizza, which is known as the "Pollo" there. They also have a wonderful selection of microbrews. more

Delicious Pizza and Friendly Service at Pazzo's 8/25/2005

I work down the street from this Eastlake pizza place. When I have the time and a craving for 'za, I like head to Pazzos. While it's not the best pie in the city, it's pretty darn good and always served with a smile. Pazzo's isn't just a lunch place. It's a good spot for a relaxed, casual dinner as well. The small outdoor courtyard on warm evenings is as good a spot as any to unwind after a long day at the office. more

Good food - bad service 7/22/2005

Lunch at Pazzos started out with poor service and went downhill from there. From the time we arrived to the time we first spoke to our waitress was about 20 mins. The place was about half full. At this point we ordered our drinks. When she returned with the drinks all of the sodas were flat. She returned about 10 minutes later with an offer to replace them with water, which she did....but the drinks stayed on the bill. Many moons later we got our food. It was a good solid pizza, especially for the price, but it wasn't worth dealing with the bad service and needing an hour and a half for lunch. At the very least in the future I'll check who's waiting tables before I return to Pazzos. more

Great lunch spot 7/14/2005

Pazzo's is known for their calzones...which is good, because their menu is pretty limited otherwise. The casual restaurant is a great place for lunch, a causual date, or to grab a quick bite to eat... The calzones are HUGE and a great value! There are a few other menu choices, but really, go here for the calzones and you can't go wrong... more

Above average Pizza 7/13/2005

Pazzos on Eastlake is locatred on Eastlake way on your way to the University Bridge. It is just off I-5 to the west and probably only a mile or so from downtown/seattle center. Pazzos excells in the Pizza making. It is not your typical pizza place These pizzas are all cooked in a wood burning oven which makes it all the better. They offer a limited menu of lower end italian food (calzones, salads, and such). The host a full bar and play sports as I recall. Unfortunately this packs in alot of the frat party crowd in the eves. Pazzos looks much more stylish that your average pizza joint with its exposed brick interior. If you are in the mood for carbs and want to skip ordering in I suggest you try this place. more

Pazzo's is no longer a winner for lunch 4/18/2005

UPDATE: Ever since Quincy (our regular server) left, this place has gone way down hill. The other servers are no good. I think they also changed out the cook. Service is slow, food is not as good, and to put salt in the wound, they charge an automatic 20% gratuity for 6 or more. One time they even charged 4 of us the 20% just because we came in with other people we knew. Silly. The only thing left is the good prices, but thats not enough, so disregard the rest of this review, Pazzo's is out of the lunch rotation. Having recently moved into a new office on Eastlake, we were in search of a new lunch spot. The most convenient place is Daly’s Drive In, which is fine, but regular visits there would probably shorten my life expectancy. Romio’s is also close by, but other than the nice waitress, not much stood out. Enter Pazzo’s. At first, it didn’t seem like this would be a good lunch place, because most of the items had prices more suited for dinner. Then we found the back page, with the lunch menu. They offer pizzas, calzones, paninis, sandwiches, and salads. The pizzas are listed at 6”, but they are larger than that. You can select your two favorite toppings from a pretty good list for either the pizza or calzone. The calzones are my favorite so far, but I haven’t made it to the sandwiches or paninis yet. The side salads that come with are on their own plate, and overflowing. To top if off, everything is served with a smile. We’re still on the lookout for other places for lunch, but Pazzo’s currently takes the top spot. more

Great spot for lunch on Eastlake 4/15/2005

Judy's Book global headquarters has recently been relocated to Eastlake Ave. and so far, the winner for the best lunch spot goes to Pazzo's. Pizza, calzones, sandwiches, paninis, salads -- all get thumbs up Prices are great, portions are huge, and the service is friendly. So if you're in the neighborhood for lunch, come on by. You might just see the Judy's Book team scribbling ideas on napkins. more
