Great Service 6/17/2009

I would like to mention what a great experience I had at the patrick melville salon. I've never had my hair dyed in fear that my hair would be dry and look horrible. But I visited this salon and had my hair done over a month ago and still today and it looks great. I love the way my hair is growing out and you do not see the roots coming through. It really does look natural. I will definitley be making an appointment to go back. A job well done. Pros: Great Enviroment Cons: I do not live in the city more

Do not pay any attention to the prior reviews! 5/31/2009

The prevous reviews (note the dates) were from when this space used to be Warren-Tricomi, which is now Patrick Melville Salon. I have been to both and find this change in ownership a definite improvement in sevice(without the attitude)! I would highly recommend this new salon! They have a unique, eco-friendly and less abrasive way of doing highlights with cotton pads instead of foil. My hair always looks great when I leave with a gorgeous blowout that lasts! By the way, they also have actual Picasso's on the wall right now! Pros: best highlights Cons: not cheap more

Staff at desk can be incredibly rude. Rather surprising in light of the prices charged and the clientele this salon seeks to serve. Services are okay, but over-priced. Varies by the service. For example, very low-quality nail polish is used for manicures, although manicures cost twice as much as at salons where better quality polish is used. Cons: Rudeness, Arrogance, High prices more

HORRIBLE!! 6/2/2005

I have made many appointments at this so-called "top notch" salon. Each and every time I have made an appointment with them, they somehow manage to mess up my appointment, and not even get the date or the sevice right! I have tried time and time again to get something that resembles good service, but to no avail. I am very disappointed with the lack of professionalism, and I highly recommend staying far, FAR away from this hyped up, psudo-trendy mediocre salon. more

I would definitely recommend this salon based on my first visit. The staff were attentive and personable. The colorist was charming, professional and creative and obviously enjoyed and cared about what he was doing. more

Editorial

  • The Scene
Warren Tricomi's second salon (and first spa) is housed in the swank, spacious Sports Club/LA, the facilities of which (weights, machines, steam and sauna) are available to spa clients. Face and body treatments are on the lower level, in one of the most serene, comfy spas around; low-lighting, candles and flannel-topped treatment tables abound. Hair services and a private two-chair pedicure room are upstairs. Post-treatment, have a cocktail, smoothie, or light meal at the cafe.

    The Services
Over twelve stylists are on staff for cuts, blowouts and color. Signature pedicures, like the "Rose Petal," include masks, scrubs and massage. YonKa products are used for body treatments and facials; massage styles include deep tissue, Swedish, shiatsu and aromatherapy. Clients can add a ten-minute neck and shoulder massage to any service for a small fee. Product shelves feature the likes of Phyto and Mason Pearson.
