I saw the reviews for Dr. McClellan and as he was in in my plan, I decided to give him a try. I've been looking for a new dentist after horrible experiences with Dentiq (on W. Gray) - where their main mission is to upsell you and get you to buy anything and everything that you don't need. A $300 electric toothbrush? Yes, it's absolutely essential. Veneers for #3,000 a tooth? You would benefit greatly. Ummm...BULLSHIT. Plus, walking in there was like walking into some trendy getaway spa. Which though that might sound good to some people, it isn't what I'm looking for when I'm at the DOCTOR. I want to feel like I'm at a legitimate medical facility, with a REAL doctor who knows what he's talking about and whose aim is to treat PATIENTS, not CUSTOMERS. But I digress. And thank goodness I found Dr. McClellan's office. The dental hygienist was so nice and gentle! They didn't try to talk me into a bunch of mouth work I don't need, and they were so helpful about things I can do on my own to help with my oral care. Like FLOSSING - which they gave me an abundance of. All different kinds so I could try them all and find my favorite! I just can't express how happy I am to have found my dentist! And Dr. McClellan should teach a course to other dentists on how to run a practice!
