Really good. The noodle dishes were large portions and full of fresh vegetables. more

Arrived in good time. Slightly overpriced for the portion size. Curry severly overcooked and not as flavorful as it should be. "Spicy" was not at all spicy even for a mild pallete. more

Perhaps on Monday they use a fill-in chef who's not very skilled? Crudely prepped vegetables. Fried rice obviously made by popping in some rice fresh from the rice cooker and ladling in a bit of broth. The Pad Thai was bland. Ordered food medium hot, but there was no detectable level of spiciness: this could have been the blue plate special in a pub in western Ireland. Food clearly made by someone who didn't know, and didn't care. more

Ordered at 7:59, estimated 8:54 delivery, delivered at 9:35. Green onion pancakes: fried phyllo, greasy. Chicken wings: honestly the skinniest and driest chicken wings but good flavor. Beef pad see ew: not flavorful. Garlic chicken rice: the rice was really good but the chicken got soggy because the packaging doesn't vent very well. This place is a "meh," it doesn't really hit the thai spot. Maybe dining in might be a better option. more

I was excited to try this, but the delivery took 1.5 hours, the food was not very hot, and the taste was just OK. The menu had a lot of choices, which was nice. more

Quick delivery, very fresh flavors. The summer roll wrapper was a but thicker than I am used to, but still delicious. My favorite was the black pepper shrimp. YUM!! more

little unknown 4/24/2008

almost don't want to share this hidden treasure. food is excellent! rotating specials. small and cozy. candles on tables. prices are fitting for the food that you get (not too bad, but well worth it). they have the usuals (pad thai, pad see ewe, tons of curries) and the not so usual (their tofu satay is so yummy, full of flavor and you know tofu usually doesn't have that much flavor). so check it out. parking might be difficult. more

great thai food - good value 3/7/2007

Great Thai Food! 10/27/2006

My husband and I love Patpong! It is our absolute favorite Thai restaurant in the Bay Area - super friendly service, excellent food, no wait, and great prices. We live in San Mateo now, but still make a special trip up to the city to eat at this restaurant (and this is with a 7 month old baby too). Our favorite dish is the Pad Kee Mao - it is delicious and rather spicy. I also love the yellow curry chicken - excellent. If we could, we would dine here weekly. Whenever we have friends visiting from out-of-town, we always bring them to Patpong. If you have room after dinner, you should order the dessert platter! Overall, we highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. Pros: Excellent food, service and great prices! Overall, a great restaurant! Cons: None - we love it! more
