I went there for some baby gift earlier this year. They have very special gift stock. You don’t usually see it in the large chain retail store. The service is really great but the price is a little bit high. I like the garden section most because I can find some special design of plant pots or garden decoration. They also have a website so you can check what kind of stuff they have online. more

If you are looking for a great place to buy a gift, or just to spend time browsing , Patina is it. They have wonderful cards. Not just the run-of-the-mill Hallmark ones. I also recommend it for nice accessories for decorationg your house. Some pieces are a bit pricey, but I always can find something there for a coworker's last day, birthday etc.,in my price range of around $20. more

Patina, in Highland Park, is a funky little shop that is a great place to get unique gifts. You will always find something that catches your eye. They have everything from gag gifts, to cards, to jewelry, to house wares, to even furniture. It is worth a shot for a neat gift. more

From every day shopping to shopping for great gifts Patina is always the first on my list of places to go. They have gifts that you cannot find anywhere else and for very reasonable prices. From jewelry and bags to cute little trinket toys for the kids. Never leave without checking out their cards and stationary...some of the best I have seen. more

Fun and Eclectic 7/21/2005

I like to go to Patina when I need a fun gift that I won't be able to find at a place like Target. They have a variety of great cards, stationery, gifts and even jewelry. I also appreciate Patina because there are so many things to choose from, it fits any price range and almost any person. For example, jewelry could range from an $8 pair of earrings to an $80 necklace. They have a nice array of bed and bath items, too. more
