I don't like that you would bring the owners children into your review-but I have heard from a friend who used to work at Patina that the owners are awful-yelling and swearing at employees-if you have to spend your money spend it in place that treat employees with respect-also the place as far as I am concerned is full of junk-I didn't even realize that any of it was original-you should go to Corazon-much better shop. more

Cute shop 8/21/2005

I can always find cute little items at Patina. You can also find good clearance items certain times of the year. I like to go there at least once a season. Patina really knows how to customize their merchandise depending on the season or holiday. They also carry funky jewelry, cards and miscellaneous gifts. more

A lot like Bibelot... 8/15/2005

Yet another super kitschy gift superstore. Went here last Christmas to get an electronic chirping bird thing that Design Within Reach was out of. Shelf after shelf filled with stuff here to clutter your desk at work, clutter your kitchen, clutter your bathroom, meanwhile satisfying your (or someone else's) inner "kidult". Give a gift that says "I don't know what you really want, but I didn't want to look like an unhip, cheapskate-so I went to Patina." more
