It's unfortunate. There are some great doctors here. It's sad that they have a great group of docs, but some lousy people working the phones.
My biggest complaint is that Bee Caves Nickels & Dimes you, for everything!!! I have never had to watch every single thing at a doctor's office because they'll charge me for it. Yes, they sure do give you the paperwork to tell you everything that they will squeeze money out of you for, but until it happens that when you realize --- this really isn't right!!
I had a well-check up today, but my 9 month old is feeling sick, she had a hard night & didn't get much sleep. Plus she has a low grade fever. I know she just needs rest & so does mom. So, when I call to tell them there's just no way we can make it ---- they say that will be $25 because I didn't give a 24-hr notice. I told them it was not possible to know that she was going to get this way in less than 24-hr or I would've cancelled. Ok, my issue is that I have been a patient with them for 5 years & they could have at least said ""you know this is our policy, but we'll go ahead & waive it this time, but next time please note that we will have to enforce it."" If they would have said this or eluded to it....ok, I would have gone ahead & stayed, but I told her I was not going to come back.
So, this really shows you something. It shows me that $25 is worth more to them than me being a patient there. DOCTOR'S OFFICES are NOT SUPPOSE TO BE FREAKIN' CORPORATE, I understand they have a business side....but even a business would weigh $25 to years worth of patronage. I had recommended people to go here, but I will purposefully tell people not to. What the hell is going on with the doctor's offices, they give so much power to the people sitting at the front desk....& it's often the people at the front desk & medical assistants that are costing them patients!
Don't go here ---- they showed me that to them the patient is not very important.
