There is an awesome band we follow and have seen them at many different venues. We made the mistake of going to see them at The Park Bench The band was awesome. However, he place sucked. It was dirty falling apart and had no airconditioner on a hot Atlanta night. I asked for a glass of wine. They had no wine. I asked for a cosmo , they didn’t know what a cosmo was( Don’t bar tenders have to be licensed? Don’t licensed bar tenders know what a Cosmopolitan is? )I asked for a white Russian and explained what one was. They had no milk or cream. Finally I settled on a vodka and coke. He told me the price was $7,so I thought it would be decent vodka. Well, it was Mr. Boston in a tiny plastic cup. I then asked him if I could have some ice and lemon. Later on someone ordered a similar drink from another bar tender and the price was totally different. A third bar tender priced it even differently. I made the mistake of going to the restroom. I tried to avoid it by only ordering one drink and was afraid. However, it was worse than I could have ever imagine. Although the music was wonderful, I will never go back, not even if Paul McCartney played there. Well, maybe for Paul McCartney.
