I wish I had read the terrible reviews on here before I made an appointment with these guys. I took the whole day off work because they gave me a 9am-1pm window to show. They NEVER SHOWED and NEVER CALLED!! When I called them they said they couldn't make it, didn't even apologize, and wanted to reschedule for another day. They actually thought I would miss another day of work and take a chance of them not showing again. Companies like this apparently don't really need business that bad if they have such terrible customer service. Pros: find a more reliable company Cons: reliability, courtesy more

DONT USE THEM! They are the worst. They cashed a deposit check from me on July 5, 2008... and to this day... no window. They said they would give me my deposit back (350.00) but have not. I call about twice a week, and I've heard every excuse, including that the check went in the mail. That was last month! Stay away. Cons: they ripped me off more

Can't I leave NO STARS? Never have I experienced a less professional. more inept crew of jokers anywhere, in any business. I know you might be thinking, ""how bad can they be?"" They are worse than any imagination can come up with. Useless. First, they said they'd measure the windows and the new ones would be ready in about 10 days. That took more than1 1/2 months. When then finally brought them for installation it was clear that one was completely the wrong size. My elevator guy told me later that they had broken one before they got to my apartment. I guess they would rather show me a wrong sized window than admit that they broke one. More than 5 months later , more than 4 more installation visits, each requiring me taking time from my job, at least 3 different crews, I still don't have my window screen. ""yes, it's STILL TOO SMALL"" . This time the installer said ""That last crew didn't know how to use a tape measure, but I know what I'm doing"".. The next time when the screen arrived, it DIDN""T FIT either. Each crew made promises that the next crew, of course, knew nothing about and would not honor. They seem to have given up on me. Now, just a few months after installation one of the new windows is stuck and won't move. I don't want to call them because that would mean that they'd come back. more

I made an appointment to have new windows intstalled in my house and nobody even showed up! Then I called to make a second appointment and the same thing happened. They wasted about a week of my time when condsidering the two appointments and all the time they made me wait in between. When I called to complain, the guy on the phone didn't even seem to care. Don't waste your time with this company. Cons: they don't show up more

I called these guys to repair my double-paned vinyl window. The outer window was broken. Cons: Attempting to Charge Customers for unnecessary repairs, Horrible Service more

It's a shame (and a sham) that this place professes any customer service at all. I had a miserable experience with them. After two months of waiting for a simple order I still didn't have the glass and was never given a meaningful answer about the delays. I even dealt with the partners directly who repeatedly broke promises to call back with updates. Ultimately I had to give up and go elsewhere. Totally useless and disappointing. This company should have no stars. I had a window replaced over a year ago and there have only been problems. The installation was not done properly and we had leaks for months. Then in the winter we actually had ice formations on the inside of the glass coating the entire frame. They finally reinstalled the frame, but the window is still leaking. They NEVER show up for appointments on time and will cancel an appointment at the very last minute. When calling to get a straight answer about an arrival time they tell you a sob story about how hard it is to run the business, traffic, how busy they are, etc. We are all busy - this is a poorly run business with low quality work. really poor service. I used them and made the mistake of recommending them to a family member. We both had the same experience; they were constantly making excuse why things were repeatedly late, incorrect orders, and in this day and age they won't accept credit cards so you have to drop off a check as a deposit on an order. Being from brooklyn, I know the contracting business is a rough one. I used these guys to put 15 aluminum windows in my mothers house, and all I had to do was call them up. They estimated the job same day, then I received a contract in email that night. I sent in deposit and about a week later they were at my mothers house installing the windows. No complaints with me!! I plan on using them for my new home in Staten Island. Im writing this because im quite satisfied, they did all the work (measuring, finding suppliers, providing labor). If you did all that by yourself you would know the hassle. Pros: They handle everything for you more

Park slope Glass and Windows had a new ownership change within the last month and after visiting their new showroom at 182 4th avenue between Douglas and Degraw Street which was recently renovated with their new selection of Marvin , Pella windows desighned to meet the landmark standards of our community and high end Aluminum windows I was more than impressed. Their new owners Mike Litwin and Vincent Brini who has been in the window business for 35 years made us feel comfortable and at home.They also provide an excellent repair dept and a fine professional staff. We waited for MONTHS for custom built screens;called repeatedly; got the run around every time. Finally, I went there and picked them up to install myself-- 9 months after the order-- and the screens didn't fit my windows. I tried calling them and they would not return my phone calls. I had to go back in and wait for 20 minutes while they tried to figure out how to cut me a refund check. And everyone in my building had a similarly miserable experience.
