I can't recommend Dr. Teichman's office enough; which is saying A LOT coming from someone who knocked his two front teeth out at the age of 12, and then knocked out the replacements 8 times - all before I ever had a cavity! I hated the dentist my entire life... until now!\r \r The entire staff has been wonderful to work with, and have helped me reestablish a level of trust with my dentist! \r \r I normally see Dr. Plotnick as my main dentist, and Mai as my hygenist... they both are GREAT!\r \r Both Dr. Teichman & Dr. Plotnick enjoy good meals, so we always talk about the great new restaurants in Brooklyn!\r \r My wife also goes there, and we are planning on taking our 3 year old soon for his first visit! more

I was ver nervous to go to my appointment because i hadn't been to a dentist for over 10 years. The staff here made me feel so welcomed and relaxed. The dental hygienist made me mouth look and feel healthy and clean like never before and at with me for about 10 minutes and educated me on the proper oral hygiene and care that would suit the needs to my mouth. Dr. Teichman made me feel comfortable and definitely new what he was doing. This office is very clean and definitely follows OSHA standard precautions. I received so many compliments from the staff. I think I found my Dentist. I would definitely refer this Dr. To every one :) more

No one likes to see the dentist...typically. But when you go and see Jen Plotnick at Dr Teichman's, it actually a can be fun experience...certainly a better experience than you are going to find anywhere else. I recently went 3 times over about 6 weeks to remove my all my old silver fillings (which I read have mercury in them, and that mercury slowly seeps into your body as they decay and cause a number of health problems over the years.) She is an utmost professional, put me at ease, told me jokes, efficient, careful to make sure the new filling was perfectly aligned to my bite. If you live anywhere along the F or G train, you should stop in and see what they are all about! more

I went to Dr. Plotnick after cracking my tooth...I was very nervous and needed immediate attention. The doctor was incredibly warm and sympathetic and did a great job of putting me at ease and stopping the pain. She is a wonderful dentist with an incredible bedside manner. I will recommend Dr. Plotnick to everyone I know and will definitely be returning to her for my next visit. \r more

This was the best dental visit I have ever experienced! \r \r I had neglected to take care of a cavity for years and was afraid to have it looked at. Dr Plotnick was very considerate of my concerns. She made me feel comfortable and relaxed, despite my trepidation. Not only was she empathic to my fears, but she managed to work me into her busy schedule on very short notice, realizing the immediacy of my issue (admittedly brought on by my own neglect). \r She's the first dentist I've been to who didn't make me feel guilty for my not-so-great dental hygiene. She was incredibly cool and accommodating --great traits for a dentist, as I now plan on taking better care of my mouth and visiting her regularly. more

This is by far the best dentist I have been to in NYC. After going through 5 different dentists in less than 7 years i had almost given up. But thankfully I read about Dr. Teichman online and decided to give him a try. I have to say, you will not be disappointed. Everyone at his clinic is very helpful and extremely friendly. From the reception to the dental hygienist to the dentists on staff. I have been there several times for cleanings and some repair work to fix what my last dentist did not do a good job on. I can definitely recommend this place and best of all its located in one of the hippest areas in Brooklyn. So as soon as you're done at the dentist go next door to Red Hot pick up some excellent Chinese food and take a stroll down 7th ave, while you wait the hour before you can eat. Then you can enjoy your food picnic style in lovely prospect park. more

This place is amazing. Dr. Plotnick is very smart, very friendly and, most importantly, a very good dentist. I have been mauled by various dentists over the year and there is absolutely no comparison between Plotnick and everybody else who has worked on me. Two root canals and four extractions executed to perfection with almost no discomfort - amazing, right? That's just how Plotnick rolls. If you're not a masochist, go here. If you like pain, stay away. more

I have been going to see Dr. Plotick for the past 2 years now, and there are no other words other than I HIGHLY RECOMMEND! She is an incredible woman, as she is both professional, confident, caring and encouraging ALL the time. I always know that she will be consistant every visit. I have been in for cleanings, and it goes so smooth. She also did the invisalign for me, and all I can say is unbelievable. If you are not happy with your teeth, I highly recommend it. I've been going to Park Slope Dentistry for a few years. I love Dr Plotnick. She is probably the best dentist in the world, or at least, the best dentist that I have ever been to. Her warm and friendly personality actually makes going to the dentist enjoyable. She is the first dentist that presented me with a clear treatment plan that she prioritized based on my budget. The hygienists at Park Slope Dentistry are also great. Cleanings with my old dentist were usually uncomfortable if not painful. Here they have fancy machines that make cleanings fast and mostly painless. I highly recommend! more

From Fear to Excitement! 10/7/2012

Okay...let me start by saying I feared the dentist like no other doctor....\r \r After not having been to the dentist since high school (I'm 34), I met Dr. Plotnick.... when I was reminded she is a dentist, I made the mistake of telling her something happened to one of my teeth and I hadn't been able to chew anything on the left side of my mouth.... she was persistant about me going in...it worked.\r \r I don't know what possessed me, but I booked an appointment during the week before work... first appointment of the day.... everyone in the office was so pleasant! (I'm not that pleasant in the morning...) I had a cleaning first, where the hygenist was extremely gentle in telling me my gums are a disaster... offered a procedure to clean them better, but she wasn't pushy at all. It's still my decision to make. She explained how I can better take care of them on a daily basis.\r \r Then I saw Dr. Plotnick....I was still freaking out about my gums, but she was great because she mentioned the p more

We first found Dr. Teichman's office through an internet search when our 4 year old had a nasty fall and hurt her mouth. Although it was a panicked last minute visit, they made room for her in their schedule and were as warm and friendly as could be. Every person there helped to make the process smooth. It was such a good experience that we decided to make them our family's dental provider. Having now gone for a checkup myself, I can attest personally to their professionalism, expertise and good humor. more

Going to the dentist can be one of the most traumatic experiences a person can have. I remember my mother’s horror stories that helped shape my early life impression for good. Once I became an adult and moved away the onus was on me, I had to find someone I could trust and rely on for my dental care. I can speak of my own first visits to different dentist around the city but that would be too long and why should I relive such painful memories. That all changed once I moved to Park Slope and a friend recommended the office of Dr. Ronald Teichman, Park Slope Dentistry. The staff is professional, incredibly friendly and honest. I have used them for the past three years and this might sound weird but I do look forward to my scheduled cleanups and annual check-ups. I can attest that this is a dental office were you will not be sold any procedure or given a treatment that is not needed. The office has the best cutting edge technology equipment and accepts most dental insurance plans. I recommend this dental office to anyone whom might have been emotionally scared by past experiences somewhere else. more

All I can really say is Dr. Plotnick is the shiz! I've had so many bad experiences in the past with shoddy dentists that the thought of even looking for one was overwhelming... But with pain comes desperation so i turned to our friend the internet, and my research led me to Dr. Techman's office. When I arrived for my initial exam I knew I was going to need a ton of work, and even though it's true, Dr. Plotnick has made me feel like a healthy mouth is right around the corner. Her confidence, her caring and most of all her passion for her work, has completely restored my faith in dentists! I seriously can't imagine turning to anyone else but her for my dental needs. Thanks Doc! more
