I hear that this restaurant was once good, but as of summer 2008, it has turned into a complete catastrophe. This is one of the worst meals I've ever eaten, and wildly overpriced at $40 including tax and tip per person for a set meal. We were served plain vegetables boiled in water with a dash of cardamom and told it was curry. The majority of the food had no seasoning, no spices of any kind, no taste, and no flavor. I don't mean that it simply wasn't spicy (although it wasn't spicy either), but that it had no taste or flavoring at all. We asked to speak to the manager, who was extremely rude, refused to answer any of our questions, and wouldn't give us his name. The head waiter, who up until that point had been pleasant and competent, joined up with the manager to stonewall and harangue us. Apparently the locals already know the score, because the restaurant was almost empty on a Saturday night, except for us, and some people drinking at the bar. The only nice thing about the restaurant was the building, which is beautiful. It's a shame that a better restaurant isn't located in this lovely space.
Pros: Beautiful building
Cons: Horrendous food
