Pappi's Pizzeria

i can't even give this place any stars. I was in there the other evening and i placed my order at the front like i was supposed to and i had a coupon that i had printed out from their website. When i received my receipt I noticed i didn't get my discount but i dropped it, i mean mistakes happen sometimes. Well then i waited 45 minutes for my food and when it finally came out the bottom was burnt so my husband sent it back and we got another one 30 minutes later. when we got that one it was doughy in the middle. So we suffered ate it. And most places i've been people usually come check on people. and not one person came to check on us. i've been there before when its been busy and i at least had a manager come ask how everything was and i just found it rude to not come check. But needless to say i will never go back there. more

Not as busy as it used to be, but still great food and friendly service. They seem to do more parties than regular business, probably since so many other (mediocre, chain) restaurants have opened up closeby in recent years. It's a shame that people would rather spend their money at a place that takes those dollars out of the local economy. As for me and my family, we will be served at good ole' Pappi's! It's still the same tasty pizza, tacos, nachos & burgers I remember. more

I grew up going to this place, it used to be awesome..but it is absolutely horrible now. Yeah, its not corporate, and that is exactly why they feel it is ok to be completely rude to their customers. I have never had such horrible customer service from an employee who didnt even have any idea what she was talking about. We tried to get the buy one get one free pizza, she rudely told us she works days and has no idea about that sale. I havent been there in 12 years and I know about it from the big bold letters that have been on the billboard in front of the building for 2 years!! While she was making our pizza she proceeded to mock my mother ( to the manager ) while i was standing there listening the whole time. I called her out on it and she looked like a deer in headlights pretending to read the ingredients list. Talk about foot in your mouth! We got out money back, and didnt even bother calling the manager, they obviously wouldnt care. There wasnt another person in the building and its quite clear why. It wont hurt me at all to see them go out of business! Good riddance!! more

One of those hometown places that has been around since the dawn of time. If you played a sport growning up in Lee's Summit, your picture is likely on the wall somewhere. Big crisp crust pizza with bountiful toppings and sauce. Large seating areas (big enough for 2 or 3 team parties and the regular clientele), video games and free kids horse rides. I'm not sure why but you purchase the pizza at one register and the beer at another (maybe dates back to the blue laws). The pizza is great and resonably priced. They also serve mexican and BBQ which I hear is quite good. I always get the pizza. Great family fun atmosphere. On some nights a clown may even sculpt you a balloon animal. If you want great pizza (the best in town) these are your people! This place is family operated and owned and GREATTTT food. They also have a wide variety of mexican food. Do you want to go somewhere hang out with 10 of your closest friends with some drinks? Thay have you covered.....Value is great and the people are too! I wont eat anything else!!!!!!! more

Pappi's Pizza is one of the best places ever. You can't go a whole week without wanting to eat there. The food, staff and the people in area are the greatest. On a date, having a family gathering, or just hanging with the kids this is the place to be. Pros: large dining room, quality and value, diverse menu more
