Great bar scene 7/31/2006

Our favorite place to hang. Happy hour priced fresh oysters and shrimp, friendly service, busy, loud, bustling bar. Creative drinks (try the Key Lime Pie Martini!) and food consisently good. Dark, thin gumbo is awesome with their bread and REAL butter! Dalton ROCKS! Oh, and you can still smoke here..... Pros: Fairly priced, super fresh seafood, consistently good service Cons: Bar is the most fun! more

Well, I've heard rave reviews about this place. We went on Friday, and I was just a little disappointed. Please know that the food was very fresh. Shrimp, scallops, crawfish to die for. But overly expensive. The sauces were not as expected. They were still good, but for the money I'd go to the Papa's restaurants. Service was outstanding, and food was good, but too $$$$$$$. I don't think I will be so eager to go again. Pros: service, selection, yummy Cons: $$$$$$, must know ur fish, $$$$$$$$ more
