This place was very delicious. My group and I splitted a sushi plate with some warm Chinese food. This was definetly not your "Panda Express" places, it had fresh food with a kick of spices. The only drawback which we had was, the service was a little slow for how busy it was and not everybodies food was served at the same time or within 2-3 minutes. I'm sorry to say that my other group members and I besides one member recieved all our food at the same time, but the one who didn't had to wait an extra 10 minutes. The food was definetly worth the wait, but I just don't see how it's possible for that much time gap between orders at one table. Excellent quality of food though, Fresh, thoroughly cooked, the right temperature, not burnt at all, not undercooked, just right. Pros: Very nice atmosphere, Authentic asian cuisine, delicious Cons: parking, possible time delay more

Editorial

  • In Short
Papajin's energetic feel fits right into the neighborhood, with clean, elegant decor lit by funky white hanging lamps. The expansive menu offers both Japanese and Chinese favorites. Sure bets on the Chinese side include lemon chicken, mu-shu wraps, twice-cooked crispy duck and fried kung bo fish. On the Japanese end, there's teriyaki, tempura and an array of sushi rolls and pieces delivered fresh daily from eastern Canada and the northern Pacific.
