The Palm Restaurant is keeps true to ?Steaks and Sketches? 4/10/2011

Let?s start with the Salads. The Caesar Salad is chopped hearts of romaine, tossed with garlic croutons and Caesar dressing, and topped with grated Parmesan. The dressing needs a little work, maybe bump up the anchovy and garlic content a bit. If you add a little salt and fresh cracked pepper, it?s just fine. Thumbs up with 4 stars! more

Just a great as the original 3/14/2010

The waitress was very attentive she was great. She took our order and dinner came out almost immediately. The steak melted in our mouths and the lobster was a treat. We were full but how can you turn down dessert when they bring your choices to the table? Love the Vegas Palm as much as I love the original in Manhattan. Pros: Steak, Cheese cake more

Over hyped 12/25/2009

The interior of the restaurant was unappealing so we sat at a pseudo alfresco table. We each ordered the much hyped 3-course business lunch, selecting Caesar salads and the twin tenderloin filets served with caramelized onions, wild mushrooms and bordelaise sauce. In addition we received a large plate of cottage fries and fried onion rings. My wife chose the key lime pie while I went with the New York cheesecake. Pros: 3-course lunch Cons: Average quality steak more

Worst meal every had anywhere 6/23/2008

Had reservation was seated about 20 min late. Place had a crowded sat at the bar had a drink. The drink was good and bartender was great. Was seated and service was slow right off the bat. No menu when seated, waiter went to table that was seated after us first. Order Tea and water that took awhile. Finally order or food i had chicken Parm. and my wife had Halibut with peppercorn. Food took a while which might explain why it was over cooked. My chicken was burnt on one end and hard and tough. My wife fish was dry and had peppercorn just sprinkled on it. It really looked and tasted bad. The manager came by and saw my wife had maybe took 5 bites of her fish and was done. Told her she couldn't stop eating. I was going to complain at this time but the manager started to make small talk and was actually very nice. At that point it would have been akward to complain even though as the manager i would have ask if the food was alright. We had a show to go to at 9:30 and just got there about 5 min early. Maybe the cook had a bad night but for that kind of money it should be better. Pros: None this night Cons: Food and price more

As a local who's given The Palm 3 different chances on 3 different occasions, I've given up on this restaurant ever getting a clue. My wife and I have gone to many of The Palm restaurants both in the U.S. (Boston, Houston, LA, DC, NY) and abroad (Puerto Rico and Mexico City) and we always get a good meal EXCEPT FOR THE LAS VEGAS LOCATION. AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE!!! Service is always poor, staff are idiots and clueless, and food is horrible (they wouldn't even take back a steak that taste like rubber and cook it right). With the premium prices you pay, you'd expect better but they treat everyone like tourist-chumps. Pros: Nothing Cons: Everything - Food, Service, Price more

Best restaurant in Vegas 3/6/2008

Excellent food, lobster and lamb are excellent. Wine selection is excellent as well. The wait staff are friendly and superb. Recommended more

Best steak house 11/21/2006

great location, great food, great service 11/2/2006

Everything about my dinning experience at The Palm was great. They have delicious steaks cooked perfect. It is expensive, but everything in Vegas is. It's worth the price tag. A definite must. more

Great place 6/15/2006

From its perfect and attractive location to the very kind service to excellent steaks I and my friend were very satisfied more

outstanding 3/3/2006

Great food joined with OUTstanding service.... We had a wonderful time... Restaurant was very loud but we were with a group of friends and enjoyed every second of it all... A MUST VISIT restaurant, Not a family type atmosphere but for a good time and wonderful food The palm was a great choice. Pros: great food, great service, lots of fun Cons: very loud more

Worst Dining Experience in Vegas!! 1/31/2006

WHAT A MISTAKE TO EAT AT THE PALM. Rushed service, cramped tiny tables, noisy atmosphere, and tasteless food from the watery, green, blue cheese dressing on the lettuce wedge to the uncooked tomato sauce on the seafood linguine. Our waiter rushed us out of there in less than an hour. I wish he'd rushed us out before we ordered. What a disappointing overrated restaurant. If you want good food, don't eat at the Palm Cons: Rushed Service, bad atmosphere, horrible food more

great steak, even better lobster 8/17/2005

it's become a tradition now when we go to vegas that we have a lobster and steak dinner at the Palm. the service is always great, the waiters are very friendly and attentive. the steak just MELTS IN YOUR MOUTH (just don't get it well-done), and the mouth waters just thinking about it. it's great when they have the surf and turf, that way you get a little of both, but that roasted lobster is just fantastic. can't wait to go back. Pros: perfect steak, tender lobster, great service more

The Biggetst Lobster I've Ever Seen 8/16/2005

Located inside the Caesar Forum Shops, the Palm provided great food with great service. My wife shared a five pound lobster with another person in our party and thought it was terrific. On the night we attended the Palm was offering lobsters even larger than the one my wife had. When dining (during the summer) they ran a special for 2 people which included the five pound lobster, two salads, and drinks for $80. Not a bad deal for the amount of food you receive. I had the smaller filet which was terrific and probably one of the best steaks I've ever had. Our service was great. The waitress had a great sense of humor and evening even more enjoyable. Pros: Great food, Wounderful service, Nice atmosphere Cons: A little loud yet fun more

Always a higlight to go to a town that has a Palm, get a cowboy steak, gigi salad, the works. Pros: quality meat, great service more

A Fabulous Experience !! 5/18/2005

Okay, so The Palm might be a tad loud...guess why?? Everyone is having FUN !!! New bar has 3 large screen TV's and awesome view of Forum Shops !!Laughing because the service rocks...especially a guy named Dutch..awesome service !! The kitchen rocks...the steak and spinach the best !! I have never seen management ( the G.M. Larry and Tanya ) work so hard to make sure guests are happy. It is true it is not a ""romantic "" restaurant but if you want good food, great service and a place to laugh.. The Palm Las Vegas is for you !! Pros: Great Steaks&Lobster, Large wine list, Great Service more

Number 1 in my book 3/7/2004

The Palm Restaurant is one of the best steakhouses in the country, let alone in Las Vegas. From it's appetizers to the main course to dessert, it's a dining experience. Certainly the best steakhouse in Las Vegas. Pros: terrific appetizers, best steaks in Vegas, great atmosphere more

best steak 3/7/2004

great steaks. great service. I would recomend it to anyone. Great setting in one of the finest hotels in Vegas. more

OVER-RATED 2/8/2004

The Citysearch ratings for The Palm are greatly exaggerated! The food and service were poor at best - steaks were not cooked as requested, appetizers/sides were marginal and service was abysmal! The Palm in Las Vegas does not live up to the NY original. Skip it next time your in Vegas and head to a different steak house. Cons: Poor Food Quality, Poor Service, TGIF's Atmosphere more

BAD, BAD, BAD 1/22/2004

This highly anticipated meal turned into a very bad experience. The entire staff was arrogant and lacked the basic courtesies expected from such a steakhouse. The food was bland, at best. My steak was over cooked and the sides were cold. There are so many wonderful restaurants in Vegas... this is NOT one of them. Pros: wine list Cons: staff, food more

palm restaurant 11/24/2003

Good drinks good service good wine good food and dessert selection outstanding. Even the boss larry helped clean a table on a very busy saturday night to seat our party. I loved the excitment of the place. It was an electric atmosphere. people were very much enjoying their time here. We felt very comfortable and no one was giving us that rush to eat and get out . I will be back with friends so they can experience excellent steaks cooked to perfection. Pros: respect for the custo, good food and wine, good service more
