Horrible customer service!! When I signed up the salon manager said my card wasn't working so she kept swiping it. Turns out there was nothing wrong with my card and I was changed 3 times for the first month. They refused to give my money back and told me they'd continue to charge me my monthly membership fee and give me a free upgrade for 3 months....it isn't free if I just paid for it. Then when I decided to cancel they charged me for an additional month and then froze my account rather than closing it charging me $7.50 every month for three more months after, again refusing to refund my money! Instead they told me I could come in and use it on lotion. I canceled my membership 3 months ago, what do I need tanning lotion for? Stay away from these shady characters unless you like having your money stolen. Staff was also really unhelpful. Whenever I came in I'd usually have to stand there waiting at least 10-15 minutes before anyone would come to the front desk. more

I have been tanning at the Palms tanning resort for almost 3 years and while I love the beds I am not a big fan of the new ownership. Every single time I walk in they ask me what lotion I'm using and I give them the exact same answer! I already use lotion. Then they ask if they can see it! They are lotion nazis and put way too much pressure on you! Almost to the point where you are uncomfortable and annoyed! Last time I checked lotion wasn't a requirement to tan. This is what tanning is all about ! I love this salon/resort. They are experts. The beds are great, and the people are sincere in helping you with your tanning. They do not lie to make a sale. Tanning is a priority with them, and they are good at it. They don't try to hook you in on other services. I just come for the great tan. Check it out ! The Ergoline beds are the best and most expensive bed to buy for a salon. But yet the prices are the same or better. I am so happy to find this professional salon. Literally, I drive by 3 other salons to get to this one. Trust me, I've been to them all. I am very concerned when a tanning salon tries to be like a conveint store and offer many services,because they are not good at one. The Palms are very good in tanning and make it their #1 priority.
