Krista instantly greeted us and showed us her line of jewelry. She educated my wife and I on the pros and cons of certain styles of jewelry. She was very accommodating to my budget and worked hard to find me the best quality for my money. The best thing about this purchase was that even though my purchase was less than some of the other clientele's purchases in Buckhead, Krista treated us with the same level of customer service and respect as other's buying more elaborate pieces. My fiance and I shopped many of the usual suspects in Altanta for a quality ring. But we were not finding anything we liked, so we started looking for someone to make something for us. After we visited Palas, we just knew that even if I found jewelry elsewhere that I liked, that we would have Palas make it for us because they were so friendly, easy to work with, and price friendly. So... I found the design I wanted and the ring was made perfectly. I am a huge fan of Palas now and wouldn't shop anywhere else for fine jewelry. Thanks Palas! Two years ago, the lady and I started looking at potential engagement rings. For two years, we visited almost every jeweler in Nashville and Atlanta and never found exactly what she was looking for. ShanCo, Solomon Bos, all the mall chains, and even local independent stores all treated us like we were just a sale. ShaneCo and Jarred tried to rip us off ( $10K for a 1.01 SI2, not including the setting)! Please contact me if you want to know all the tricks these places pulled on us. Needless to say we were very skeptical when we walked into Palas but that changed almost immediately. Palas mostly displays unique handmade Jewelry in the store but don't let that fool you as they will find you the jewelry you want. The ladies who work here are amazing and patient and very knowledgeable but never arrogant or pushy. They worked with us and found exactly what the lady was looking for. Other places tried to push what they had in store or in stock on us and we never found exactly what she wanted. But at Palas, the owner Angela sat down with us and customized our ring exactly how we wanted it. She even let us see the diamonds in natural sunlight, bringing out their true beauty. The best part for me, the QUALITY of the diamond exceeded the PRICE! We got a higher quality diamond with better scintillation in a better setting (and bigger!) 30% less than what everyone else wanted. Their customer service is 5 star and can't be beat. We found the perfect ring and cannot praise Palas enough. Wanted a diamond pendant necklace for my bride-to-be at our wedding and the ladies at Palas went above and beyond to help me. Not only did they calm me down (as it was 2 days before THE day) and make me feel 100% comfortable, they also shocked me by remembering us from the year before and assisted me in choosing the perfect necklace. I really like how the Palas staff never tries to ""sell"" you anything. They listened, asked questions, and made conversation about me and my wife outside of the business transaction. The ladies have a completely different style and taste than my wife, yet, they helped me choose a necklace that my wife wears all the time. After the wedding, my wife brought some flower petals from her bouquet to Palas where they dried, preserved, and created a unique hand made necklace that my wife also wears all the time. It is so nice to know that I have Palas to help me in the future. My wife's graduating from graduate school in the near future so I will be visiting Palas very soon... Yes, the jewelry is amazing! Yes, their prices are wonderful! However, what's most notable difference that sets them above ALL others is their customer service. I absolutely adore both of them. You feel like you are talking with friends from the moment you walk in. There have been plenty of times that I've just stopped by to peek and ""play"" with all the wonderful finds that they have from estate jewelry to handcrafted jewelry. They don't settle for mediocre and they are not happy until you are! I've had several pieces custom made and cherish all of them. Going there is blissful!! There is not enough room here for me to tell you how great my experience has been with Palas Jewelers. I was referred by a friend so I went to see them. I purchased an engagment ring from Palas and Krista and Angela were unbelievable!!! They held my hand throughout the whole process and they helped me design the perfect ring!!! After reading the review, I decided to give them a call to obtain an appraisal for an engagement ring. Angela was very cordial so I made my appointment for the same day. Upon arrival, I was acknowledged while another customer was being attended to and I was offered a glass of water. This was welcoming. I felt as wealthy as the other customer --great PR. As soon as I walked in I knew I was in for a different shopping experience. I had been trying to get a ring reset for a while but all of the big jewelry stores I went to didn't make my small request a priority at all. I even called around to find a place that could reset the ring in less than a week and was told I should try a ""mall jeweler"" as if it was beneath them to even consider such a request. The women at Palas were amazingly sweet and made me feel like I was a top priority! While I was there I had a chance to look at the other beautiful and unique jewelry and was surprised at how reasonably priced everything was.
