Pages For All Ages

The bookstore closed in Jan 2009 and had a closing sale a few weeks later. I definitely miss this store as part of shopping in Champaign-Urbana. more

I love Pages for All Ages. My husband got a gift certificate from work to go and I thought it would be a great time to take the kids. There are lots of places to take a seat and read a book. There is also a place to take your kids with a little house for them to play in or some toys to take out and play as well. My favorite is all the choices in children's books. My daughter and I love looking at their wide selection of books and choosing one to take home. Their prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is just cozy. They have sections for movies and music, and a cafe for a cup of coffee. I think it is the perfect spot for a book store, away from the hustle and bustle of the busy life. It brings the atmosphere from chaotic to calm and relaxing, which I think is great. The employees are helpful and very nice. more

If you want to support a local business and avoid other large chain stores then check out Pages for All Ages (referred to as "Pages" by the locals). They have a huge selection and friendly staff. They are easy to get to located on Neil St. in Savoy. They now offer Wi-Fi which makes a great place to get some studying or work done if you want to get some coffee and work. more

Pages for All Ages is an awesome store! As their name suggests, they have books for people of all ages. They have alot of teachers books and offer a 25% discount to teachers. They have a very nice atomosphere, with lots of cozy places to read and a fireplace in the center. The staff is very helpful and can order things for you. Orders only take 2-3 days to arrive. The have authors for books signings and lots of themed programs. They also have a coffee shop and WIFI. more

This is a great bookstore that has all the amenties of a larger chain (coffee shop, huge selection, comfy chairs for reading) with none of the creepy corporateness. They also have the most complete magazine selection in the area. In addition, IIRC, they have a frequent buyer program punch card which is just another advantage they have over Barnes & Noble. more

My family loves a visit to Pages for All Ages. Similar to the large chain bookstores-but, with that personal touch offered by a privately owned business. This large bookstore has a wonderful assortment of books and I think the best magazine section in the area. They have reading time for children, author's nights and lots of seating for browsing books. There is a coffee bar in the corner and a frequent buyer program (free). Check this out, you won't be disappointed. more

The scope of this bookstore is very similar to Borders and Barners & Nobles. It has a cafe. Sofa everywhere. Playground for children. It has story-telling nights and music nights for local artists. The staff there are very friendly. The only shortage perhaps is the price. Local bookstore usually is unable to offer a cheap price. I hope it can continue to survive. more

Pages for All Ages is a great bookstore. It is larger than your average independent bookstore. They will order anything you want. The children's book department is especially good. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful. This company really believes in community participation and as a result they make contributions to various organizations and schools. more

This is a great book store for everyone. It is really nicely laid out and easy to find what you are looking for. Throughout the store are comfortable plush chairs you can sit in to read. They have an excellent childrens department that draws childrens interest in books. On site is a great little coffe shop where you grab something to drink or a snack while you read. more

Pages For All Ages in Savoy has a quaint, friendly atmosphere. I love to go in and leisurely browse the shelves. Their are often children's storytimes being offered which are enjoyable for the entire family. The prices are comparable to other bookstores, neither significantly higher or significantly lower.
