After reading the other reviewers,I called Gary to ask about the reviews. He was honest about them,indicating exactly what the issue was on each one. After talking with him, I decided to give him a try at fixing my 36 inch rca tv. He was experienced enough and knowledgeable enough to recognize what kind of set it was from the chassis number and came to my house, removed the chassis,fixed it and returned it all within 36 hours. It now works like a charm(the problem was weird in that sometimes the tv would come on right away, other times take 10 minutes or so for the picture to come on, and other times simply wouldn't show a picture). So I don't don't know why the other reviewers were so negative given my very positive experience with Pacific Video. Pros: honest,quick service more

Doesn't Finish Job, Horrible Dishonest Service, Don't Use!!! 4/22/2009

Gary is a dishonest business. Gives quote, gets ok, pulls board out of TV, disappears. Doesn't call does not come back when stated, and will not return phone calls. Has absolutely no class in working with customers. Came back after repeated phone call shove board in the tv. It did not fix the problem. Left said he would be back to fix the problem. When he went back to his shop he billed my Master Card for the estimate of $340. Have not heard nor seen Gary since. Have called repeatedly but he will not answer his phone. Have dispute filed with CITI Master Card on the charge since the tv still doesn't work. Left message for Gary, I am disputing the charge since he did not complete the job. Also will file suit if he does not credit back the charge!!! Left message informing him of such action!! Having another TV repair service coming to fix the problem, Will document if it is necessary to file a suit against Gary's TV.\r \r DON'T USE THIS BUSINESS TO HAVE A TV FIX. GARY ONLY KNOWS HOW TO CHARGE THE CUSTOMER, I CAN SAY HE KNOWS HOW TO FIX A TV!!!!! Cons: Doesn't Fix the Problem...Walks Away more

I DON'T KNOW HOW GARY STAYS IN BUSINESS. HIS REPAIR SHOP IS A TRAP. BEWARE. ONCE HE GETS YOUR ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT HE WILL NOT RETURN CALLS. I WOULD NOT TRUST HIS ESTIMATES. STAY AWAY!!! Pros: NONE!!! Cons: POOR SERVICE, DISHONEST, UNRELIABLE, RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL more
